INTRODUCTION INTRODUCTION

Background of the Apprenticeship

2 on this occasion, the author chose the Immigration Office Class I Pekanbaru as a place to carry out apprenticeship activities for 4 (four) months or about 20 (twenty) weeks. The author's reason for choosing the Pekanbaru Class I Immigration Office as a practical workplace is to find out all documents or license requirements and administrative supervision of Foreign Nationals (FNA). The implementation of the Apprenticeship is expected to increase the writer's knowledge about various good and correct implementation of tasks and be able to face the real world of work with the experience gained.

Purposes of the Apprenticeship

Students get the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge and concepts according to the study program in the real world of work B. Student Apprenticeship can strengthen cooperation and socialization between the Bengkalis State Polytechnic and the Immigration Office Class I Pekanbaru and can continue to send the next student for apprenticeship with the company. The existence of apprenticeship is an opportunity for companies to promote the image and perspective of the office to the public.

The vision of Pekanbaru Class I Immigration Office that was formed is as follows: Society gets legal assurance. While realizing the vision that has been formulated, the Class I Pekanbaru Immigration Office has declared a number of missions which are as follows. Each department of Head of Office (Kakanim), Head of Administrative Subdivision (Head of Subdivision), Head of Division (Kasi) and Head of Subdivision (Kasubsi) within the organizational structure of Immigration Office Class I Pekanbaru has duties and responsibilities to achieve the goals of the agency.

The duties and responsibilities of the manager of the Immigration Office are to coordinate implementation in the area of ​​immigration, including information. The personnel manager's task is to handle personnel matters, which include formation of mutations, dismissals and resignations in the office environment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The general manager's task is to take care of general matters that include correspondence, equipment and household items in the office environment in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The duties and responsibilities of the immigration traffic section are to provide Travel Documents (R.I. Passports), Departure Permits and Return Permits to applicants or the public based on applicable laws and regulations. The duties and responsibilities of the Immigration Supervision and Enforcement Section are to conduct Immigration Supervision and Enforcement for foreigners in the working area of ​​the Immigration Office Class I Pekanbaru based on the applicable laws and regulations and to monitor violations of immigration permits and create cooperation between agencies in the field of supervision.

Kind and Description of the Activity

The time of doing the apprenticeship activities is from February 15, 2021 to June 30, 2021, and during the apprenticeship activities, the author is placed in several positions such as administration, staff and Wasdakim (immigration control and enforcement). Enter the names of the applicants who take care of BAP in the registration book. Enter the name of the applicant who is a BAP administrator in the registration book.

The author has difficulty finding the inventory in the stock warehouse due to the irregular layout of the goods. The author has difficulty finding employee orders that are stored in different cabinets because the layout of employee orders is irregular or not based on the position of the highest class, and there are several employee orders that do not have names and photo, so the author has a hard time finding the necessary orders from employees, so it takes a long time to find the orderer. The author has difficulty finding the BAP file (Minutes of Examination) suspension due to the long suspension time and the BAP file (Minutes of Examination) with the BAP file (Minutes of Examination) suspension are combined in 1 (one) the same cabinet so that the compiler finds it difficult to find files. The BAP (Minutes of Investigation) of the suspension that must be presented to the applicant takes a lot of time.

Solution

This makes it difficult for writers to find the necessary elements and also takes a lot of time. The Wasdakim (Immigration Control and Enforcement) department pays more attention to the BAP applicant files so that they are not combined with the BAP withholding files, so that BAP applicant files do not take much time to search. .

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION

Conclusion

38 makes it easier to do work, especially on jobs that involve the process of entering employee data and passport applicant data. During the internship at the Pekanbaru Class I immigration office, there were several obstacles, such as problems with the layout of office supplies and filing employee data. The solution to overcome obstacles during the internship process at the Pekanbaru Class I immigration office is to rearrange the layout of the items and create codes for each item to make it easier when needed.

Suggestion

When the writer was asked to look for the Minutes of Examination (BAP) file, the suspension writer felt confused in finding the file because the minutes of the suspension examination and the files of the minutes of the research were usually combined in the same 1 (one) box so that it was difficult for the writer to find the news files. The deferral exam event to be presented to the applicant takes a lot of time and the applicant has to wait. The suggestion that the author wants to convey to Wasdakim's staff is to pay more attention to these files, and the files should be separated to make it easier to find the desired file and not take a long time to find the file.
