The purpose of this study was to find out the growth of students in mastery times using jigsaw strategy in the eighth grade of Islamic Boarding School Mts DDI Patobong Kab.
Research Question
Then, with the advantages of this jigsaw strategy, it teaches students to work together respectfully and to be responsible for helping other group members to learn. I hope the teacher will also use this jigsaw model and add games to teach the students, especially in learning English, namely learning tenses. They easily understand the material and are one of the solutions for students to develop learning times.
Based on all the explanations of the results of observation of boarding school researchers at the junior level still lack skills at times, namely Islamic Boarding School DDI Patobong, so researchers are interested in conducting research titled :Increasing Students' In Mastery TensesBy Using Jigsaw Strategy at the Eight Grade of Mts Islamic Boarding School DDI Patobong Kab.
Objective of the Research
To find out the increasing students' tension mastery using puzzle at the grade MTS DDI Patobong Kab.
Significance of the Research There is a use in this research
In her research, The Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model Used to Improve Student Learning Tenses DKV UNINDRA. She said that puzzle cooperative learning outcomes in learning the puzzle method, puzzle learning model is much more effective than the method that is conventional of lectures. Based on the data, there was a 52.6% improvement in learning outcomes from experiment class 3 and a 47.6% improvement in learning outcomes from experiment class 4.
Based on the previous research above, the researcher can conclude that the use of jigsaw method is more effective and able to improve students' learning times.

The population of this research is the eighth grade students of MTS DDI Patobong. In the preparation of this finlay project, the researcher raised the title of Enhancing Students' Basic Tenses Ability Using Jigsaw. The researcher addresses the students and gives some material about basic tenses using a puzzle. The researcher conducted four meetings.
The procedure of the treatment basic times by using puzzle of Experimental class as follows. The purpose of giving is to find out the students' improvement in learning English using tenses while sitting in the seventh grade and then going to the eighth grade. To find out the increase in students' basic times using a puzzle, the data analysis in this study was performed on the pre-test and post-test score.
To find the average score of students' increasing basic times using the following formula of the jigsaw. In this chapter, research results are described to increase students' basic time ability using puzzle by processing data to the form of pre-test and post-test. Before giving the treatment of four meetings, the researcher administered a pre-test aimed at determining the increasing students' basic timing ability.
To find out how to increase students' basic skills in basic times, students are given a pre-test and a post-test in the experimental classroom for the first step of the study. Total Based on the above table, improving students' basic skills before treatment/pre-test the mean score was 59.4 and after treatment the mean post-test was 84.56.

The second research question related to the students' increasing mastery over time using the jigsaw puzzle strategy, after conducting an experimental lesson teaching the jigsaw puzzle strategy in class, the researcher showed the result of the hypothesis test by interpreting the data after the treatment for four sessions in the experimental and control class was the researcher first showed the category to each student in the experimental and control classes. This study, a usability test, was conducted using Cronbach's Alpha Formula technique and using SPSS 2022 in this Windows 2017 program.
Discussion
After conducting the data analysis, the researcher described some of the findings of the research that had been conducted in accordance with the research guidelines used, as follows. Another class was control class, which will be the comparative class among the quasi experimental designs, the result can get pre-test measures to determine the students' mastery of times before receiving treatment. At the step of this test, the researcher begins to introduce himself and inform the students about his objectives.
Next, the researcher explained a little about times, after which the researcher gave a pre-test to several students with the aim of knowing the increase in students' mastery time before treatment. To find out how implementing the related puzzle increases students' basic time mastery. Looking at the findings of the pre-test experimental class and control class classification from the two table, five students' score (39) is very poor, 23 students.
In addition, the mean score for the pre-test and the mean score for the post-test were The mean of the pretest in the experimental class (59.4), then the mean of the experimental posttest (84.56). The results show that the jigsaw model is able to improve students' basic times and can add to their new knowledge of basic times.
The researcher asked the students to read and understand the material within 20 minutes, and then the students were randomly assigned to other groups to explain the material. After the research used the jigsaw in the class while teaching basic times, the researcher found that all students were very interested when learning the jigsaw model.
Conclusion
After presenting the research findings and discussion in the previous chapter, the researcher draws the conclusion and after some suggestions based on the research that was done in the eighth Islamic boarding school DDI Patobong Kab.
