Abstrack

In order for the loading and unloading of cargo at the port to be on time accordingto the estimated schedule, the loading and unloading equipment is one of the important factors so that the loading and unloading process runs smoothly. What needs to be considered so that the performance of the ship's loading and unloading equipment is ready and optimal for carrying out loading is by avoiding and minimizing the factors that cause the equipment's performance to be not optimal. After identifying the causes of delays in the loading and unloading process, then further research can be carried out to find things that cause loading and unloadingdelays. By doing this research, loading and unloading companies can be more consistent in carrying out maintenance on ship loading and unloading equipment and knowing things that cannot be tolerated, they can follow loading and unloading procedures correctly so that the loading and unloading process runs smoothly. Supervision of the loading and unloading process and maintenance of loading and unloading equipment is intended to optimize the loading and unloading process
