Visiting students are permitted to register for coursework in the Medical School (if class space is available) with the approval of the appropriate department and with the concurrence of the course instructor and the Associate Dean for Medical Students. Completed applications must be received in the Office of Student Records at least eight weeks before the start date of the course.

Successful completion of medical curriculum courses and school status are determined by the nature of the student's daily work; the results of examinations, which may be written, oral or practical; and observing the student in action. The medical school curriculum gradually builds on the tasks of each previous academic year.

Each subsequent year's courses require increasing levels of coordination and integration of the previously presented material.
