Andi Muh Rijalul Kamal "the use of blending technique to develop the speaking skills of seventh grade students in as-salman sidrap islamic boarding school". Based on those advantages above, the researcher is interested in doing a research about "Using Blending Technique to Develop Speaking Skills of Seventh Grade Students in As-salman Sidrap Islamic Boarding School".
INTRODUCTION
Research Question
4 Susan, R.U The use of blending games to improve the speaking performance of second grade students at SMAN 1 Bandar Lampung University. (2017), p.4. The dependent variable is the student's speaking skills and the independent variable is the Mingle technique. The data in table 4.1 describe the average score of the students in the experimental class.
The data in Table 4.2 described the average score for the students in the control class. The data in Table 4.3 described the average score for the students in the experimental class. The data in Table 4.4 described the average score for the students in the control class.
It means that there is a significant development of students' speaking skills through the use of the Mingle technique. It defines that there is no significant development of the students' speaking skills through the use of the Mingle technique. To develop the students' speaking skills, the researcher treated the experimental group for eight meetings.
The Objective of the Research
Significance of the research
5 Susan, R.U The use of mingling games to improve the speaking performance of second grade students at SMAN 1 Bandar Lampung University. (2017), p.26. Mingle Technique is the suitable technique to develop the speaking skills of the students because it is more interesting. The researcher will give a taste, treatment by teaching how to speak to the students through Mingle Technique.
As previously mentioned in the previous chapter, the researcher gave the tests (pre-test and post-test) to the students. To find out from the student's speaking skill by using Mingle technique, the researcher examined the pre-test to the students before treatment. To find out from the student's speaking skill using Mingle technique, the researcher gave post-test to the students after treatment.
The hypothesis of the research is that the application of the Mingle technique can develop the speaking skills of the seventh grade students of As-salman Sidrap Islamic Boarding School. The purpose of the post-test is to reveal the development of the students. The use of blending technique can significantly develop the speaking skills of students in the seventh grade of As-salman Sidrap Islamic Boarding School.
REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE
Some partinent idea
Mingle technique
The Mingle technique is an activity where students walk around and talk to each other to obtain the information they need. The Mingle technique requires students to tell each other what they really think about a certain topic.
Teaching speaking skill through mingle technique
8. He evaluated the students by asking them to say what they get during the mingle technique. The teacher assesses the students by asking them to say things in VII A.
The procedure of mingle technique
The advantages and disadvantages
These activities create motivation for students of English to engage and participate actively in the learning activities.
Theoretical framework
In this study, the researcher wants to find out that the use of mixing technique can improve speaking fluency and intelligibility. To support the ideas, the researcher therefore needs some theories about teaching speaking and the Mingle technique as teaching aids.
Hypothesis
- Conceptual Framework
Fourth, moving to find other students, the students move and find another classmate to talk. The researcher will give a taste, treatment by teaching how to speak to the students through Mingle.
METHODOLOGY OF THE RESEARCH
Population and Sample
Muhsin says "Samples taken with purposive sampling technique were samples taken if research is done with very limited conditions such as time, effort and funds."20 This means that purposive sampling is based on special or specific purpose of taking the sample. Based on the explanation, the researcher applied purposive sampling technique in selecting a sample of this research, because in the Islamic residence As-salman Sidrap had only 2 classes in seventh grade and the researcher has limited time to conduct a research. do.
Research variable
The students were given the post-test to measure the students' abilities after the treatment. Second, the researcher calculated the average score of the students of both groups using the formula stated by Hatch and Farhady. The pre-test is used to detect students' basic speaking skills.
Referring to the achieved score, it could be seen that most of the students achieved low scores in their speaking skills. Teacher asks one of the students to lead their friends to pray before the class starts. Teacher gives evaluation to the students by inviting them to tell at least 5 animals at home.
Teacher gives evaluation to the students by inviting them to tell at least 5 animals around the school.

Treatment
Therefore, in the first meeting, the researcher gave the topic about "Classroom VII A", and in the second meeting about it. There are a lot of things in my bag", in the third meeting the researcher gave the topic "Come to my house (activities in the bathroom)", and in the fourth meeting the researcher gave the topic "Come to my house part 1 (activities in the dining room). )", at the fifth meeting the researcher gave the topic of the material Come to my house part 1 (activities in the living room), at the sixth meeting the researcher gave the topic Come to my house (activities in the garden), at the seventh meeting the researcher gave the topic o "I have them at home and at school, part 1 (Animals at home)", and at the last meeting, the researcher gave the topic "I have them at home and at school, part 2 (Animals at school)". 1. VII A classroom 1. Introduced the lesson and asked some questions related to the topic.
8. He evaluated the students by inviting them to say what they get during the fellowship.
Technique of Data Analysis
Third, after obtaining the mean score, the researcher calculated the deviation in both the control and experimental groups. Mean Score of Control Group = Sum of Scores of Experimental Group = Sum of Scores of Control Group N = Total Number of Students24. Sum of Squared Deviation of Experimental Group = Sum of Squared Deviation of Control Group = Sum of Experimental Group Scores.
Sum score of experimental group = Sum score of control group n = The total number of students25. The total square of experimental group = The total square of control group Nx = The total number of experimental group Ny = The total number of control group26.
Testing hypothesis
Looking at the table above, referring to Heaton's scoring system, most student scores for assessment 2 (56-85) of fluency were dominated by 13 students and for assessment 1 (≤55) of accuracy were dominated by 17 students. Looking at the table above, referring to Heaton's scoring system, most student scores rated 2 (56-85) for fluency were dominated by 13 students and rated 1 (≤55) for accuracy were dominated by 14 students. Looking at the table above, referring to Heaton's scoring system, most of the students' scores for fluency rating 2 (56-85) were dominated by 14 students and for accuracy rating 1 (≤55) were dominated by 11 students.
Looking at the post-test result especially for the experimental group, the process of teaching speaking skill through Mingle technique facilitates the students' development. The teacher assesses the students by inviting them to show the things in my bag that they get from their friends.
FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION
Testing hypothesis
In testing the hypothesis in this research, the researcher used two criteria to determine whether or not the use of blending technique was effective in developing the speaking skills of As-salman Sidrap Islamic Boarding School students. First, if the t-count is higher than the t-table, the hypothesis of this research will be accepted or the use of mixing technique is effective in developing students' speaking skills. Otherwise, if the t-count is lower than the t-table, the hypothesis of this research will be rejected or the use of mixing technique is not effective in developing students' speaking skills.
This means that the technique of using blending can develop the speaking ability of the seventh grade of As-salman Sidrap Islamic Boarding School.
Discussion
The researcher arouses the interest of the students by involving their emotions so that the students are more interested to start the lesson. The researcher then asked the students about their feelings about using the blending technique in the teaching and learning process, and they said it was interesting. Blending technique can be used as one of the techniques to learn speaking, because students will be motivated and enjoy speaking, because they talk with their friends, get many ideas and increase their stock of vocabulary.
The effectiveness of using blending activity to improve the students' speaking ability at the Islamic Junior High School Marif Nu Miftahul Huda Mangunranan Grade VII in the academic year 2012/2013. In the first cycle teacher asks the students to stand up and when the teacher says.
CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION
Suggestion
While the A group is talking, the B group notes what their friend says about things in the VII A classroom.
