FACTORS AFFECTING THE INCREASING IN THE INCIDENCE OF LBWS IN PUSKESMAS MALUNDA 2017-2019
Background : WHO (World Health Organization) defines BBLR as a baby born with a weight of ≤ 2500 gr. WHO groups BBLR into 3 kinds, namely BBLR (1500–
2500 grams), BBLSR (1000-1500 grams), BBLER (< 1000 grams). According to who in 2015 in the world there is a BBLR event is 15.5%, which means about 20.6 million babies are born every year, 96.5% of them in developing countries. BBLR rate in Country development (16.5%) more than double the rate in developed Regions (7%). Low birth weight (BBLR) is one of the main problems in developing countries.1
