Then one day last summer, Dennis observed internal parasites coming from one of the horses in the. Dennis began his research on the diagnosis, treatment, control and morphology of parasitic rabbits. When the infected rabbit died, Future Farmer performed a postmortem examination to detect the characteristic intestinal lesions.
Select the facts about the speaker's experience, abilities, and qualifications that relate to the topic. It took about a week to do most of the work and another week to fill it. This fact was brought to the attention of the younger generation around Dundee, Michigan, when Future Farmers decided to sponsor a pet fair.
Last fall's fair opened with an assembly for each elementary school grade level. The creators of Dundee's Future Home elaborated on how the foods in each of the basic groups are available because of the animals.
VERN FRANCE
Raised on a tobacco and grain farm in the eastern part of the state, he started on the road to farming with two lakes from the Benson FFA Chap-. Cities brings Future Farmers and millions of conifer seedlings together as farmland that goes back to producing forest products. But even before Future Farmers bought their plants, tree planting had become an annual affair in their semi-suburbs.
Farmers and landowners wanted to improve their land with trees grown on land placed in the Agricultural Conservation Program. The only thing missing was capable help in planting endless rows of seedlings. Chapter members met to design a program that would benefit both the farmers and future farmers involved. This now allows the farmer to require prospective farmers to spread an 18-inch band of herbicide around the trees when they are planted.
Prospective farmers went as far as 30 miles north to get patron trees at the state nursery. Countless acres of pines and spruces growing in their neat rows in the Stillwater community are the end result of another FFA-sponsored service.

FFA team consisting of one member on the tractor and two more on the seedling planter. Stillwater Future Farmers has been planting through farmers' fields at a rate of 1,000 tree rafters per hour, spacing seedlings five feet apart.
And most importantly, a large number of farmers in the community now have a valuable cash crop on their marginal lands. It was decided to charge $10 per thousand for planting trees which the farmer received from the State Conservation Department for another $10 per thousand. Word of the program spread and local farmers contacted the chapter requesting that trees be planted on their farms on a customized basis.

Then he turned his attention to the far corner of the room, where a couple of blond youths were sitting on a bench. "How are you feeling, George?" he asked.
His features were pale and his smile didn't mask the twitch of pain that came as he tried to sit up straight. "It's time to get back on the field." .. said one of the officials in a striped shirt, poking his head into the cloakroom. Dan Rodgers gave the lanky senior a light tap on the shoulder. Members of the section quickly embraced the idea of several days in the mountains, and before Hollo left to teach at Simms, he personally guided three such trips. Then, during the closing days of this past May, he brought members of the Simms.
This was settled by a policy paid by the Simms Chapter at the rate of 7 cents per person per day. Rocky Mountain sheep and coyotes abounded almost to the human camp itself, and rarely failed to alarm even a veteran camper. When camp was set up on the first morning, small groups took turns boating to the upper part of the lake where the north and south branches of the Sun River meet.
After fishing for a while it was back to landing and hiking to Beaver Creek Campground where the rest of the Simms were. These official 1964 FFA calendars have been created especially for you under the new PLAN C of the National FFA Calendar Program.
