So far, the company has marketed a system that uses a transponder strapped around a cow's neck and activated when the animal puts its head through a feed trough. A popular new idea for the Big Timber, MT, Chapter was an old fashioned downer. Musicians from the area strummed and sang while paying customers danced. As part of their giveaways at the county fair, the Middlesex County, NJ, ChapterwillpassoutFFA. FFA Members Softballgame, Fairview, MT, Chapter came out on the losing end and had to pay for the refreshments.
When the county cattlemen's association held their dog feeding contest, the Akron, CO, FFA made 56 plates consisting of a picture of the pig enclosed in a horseshoe frame for presentation to each buyer. They gave key chains in the shape of pigs— made of wood, painted and even with curly tails. Dottie Gordon and Loretta Young, members of the Marysville, OH, got their picture in the local paper with the chapter's newly purchased computer.

We welcomed our first stop at Fredonia Seed Company in Fredonia, New York where we visited their facility.
