Irawati (2017) Improving students' vocabulary using Word Wall Media in reading ability (Pre-experimental research in the second grade of SMP 3 Mallusetasi in the academic year 2017/2018). The purpose of this research is to find out the use of Word Wall Media in improving the vocabulary of reading skills of students in the second grade of SMP 3 Mallusetasi.
The result showed that there was a significant difference in students using word wall media. Secondly, I realize that this thesis could never have been completed without the help of my beloved parents, Zainuddin and Hj. This thesis also could not have been completed without the support, advice, guidance, encouragement and help of many people.

Therefore, the researcher will take the initiative to improve the vocabulary by using word wall media so that the KKM students can achieve the target value. In addition, the main purpose of the word wall is to help students develop a visual recognition of words so that they can recognize them at a glance. In addition, the Word wall affects students' mastery of English vocabulary knowledge, where the media word wall is intended to improve learning, and group activities can also involve students in the creation and activity of its use.
Based on the above explanation, this research of Pre-Experimental Research entitled "Improving students' vocabulary using word wall media in reading skills in the second grade of secondary school 3 Mallusetasi". This research aims to know students' achievement in vocabulary mastery before teaching using Word Wall media. This research is to know the achievement of students in vocabulary mastery after learning using Word Wall media.
For the teacher: The teacher can improve the methods they have been taught by using the word wall in teaching the language of vocabulary. The scope of the research was limited to Using Word Wall Media and Reading Skill to Improve Vocabulary Students' at Second Grade of SMP 3 Mallusetasi in Academic Year 2017/2018.

Pre-Test
In this example, the teacher listed some words and asked the students what these words mean.
Treatment
The students played and mentioned verbatim, rather than writing on the paper thus attached to the wall. The teacher asks the students to mention again the new vocabulary they know, then write it on paper and then stick it on the wall.

The table above shows that the average score of the students in the pre-test was 51.42, while the average score of the students in the post-test was 90. It was analyzed that the students' vocabulary improved after using Word Wall Media in the classroom. Thus, the result can be concluded that the students' vocabulary mastery was very poorly categorized before the test.
Based on Table 2.2, the percentage of the post-test showed that there were 6 students (28.58) out of 21 students who got an excellent category (96-100) of the students' mastery of vocabulary. The result can therefore be concluded that the students' mastery vocabulary of in post-test is very well categorized. After team word wall media was used in treatments, the students' vocabulary was better than pretest.
The description of the collected data, used word wall media as explained in the previous section showed that the students' were stimulated. It was supported by the frequency and percentage of the result of the students' scores for pre-test and post-test. Based on the results, students' percentage scores in vocabulary before using word wall media showed that the students' literacy skills of the second grade students in SMP 3 Mallusetasi, especially grade VIII.1, were very poor.
The post-test percentage showed that 6 students (28.58) out of 21 students had an excellent category (96-100) of the students' vocabulary mastery. Nurcahyani (2016) found in her journal article titled “The Effectiveness of Using Word Wall Media Toward Students' Vocabulary Mastery of Eight Grade In Mts Negeri Bandung” that the main purpose of a word wall is to help students build word recognition so that they recognize at a glance. Southerland (2011) found in her journal article entitled 'The Effects of Using Interactive Word Wall to Teach Vocabulary to Middle School Students' that the effective teaching strategies and interaction between students are also common components of their instruction.
Next came the students' reading skills developed at SMP 3 Mallusetasi on August 21 to September 11. Based on the data, it can be concluded that the second class of students of class VIII.1 of SMP has improved. It has been significantly improved the improvement of students' vocabulary mastery through word wall media in the improvement of students' vocabulary mastery in the second grade VIII.1 of SMP 3 Mallusetasi.
It is ensured by the main score of the pre-test (51.42) and the main score of the post-test (90) it is shown that the vocabulary ability of the students in the post-test was higher than that of the pre-test, in addition to the value of the test (0.16) . which was higher than the t table (1.725). It can be concluded that the use of word wall media in the classroom was effective to improve students' vocabulary mastery in the second grade VIII.1 of SMP 3 Mallusetasi. 2016).Effectiveness of Using Word Wall Media for Students Eighth Grade Vocabulary Mastery in MTs Negeri Bandung.
