4.7 Menangkap makna secara kontekstual terkait fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks naratif, lisan dan tulis, sangat pendek dan sederhana, terkait fairy tales

A. TUJUAN PEMBELAJARAN

Melalui tayangan video, mengamati gambar, dan membaca materi, peserta didik dapat:

1. Mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan informasi terkait fungsi sosial yang tekandung dalam teks narrative (fairy tales) lisan dan tulis pendek dan sederhana.

2. Menyusun kalimat acak menjadi teks narrative yang runtut sesuai dengan urutan yang logis secara lisan dan tulis.

3. Menyajikan teks narrative berbentuk fairy tales yang telah disusun secara tulisan dengan pengucapan dan intonasi yang tepat

• Guru memulai kegiatan dengan salam, doa, dan absensi (KSE-Kesiapan Belajar, Pengelolaan Diri)

• Guru bersama peserta didik membuat kesepakatan kelas/komitmen pembelajaran (Budaya Positif)

• Guru mengajak peserta didik menerapkan Teknik STOP sebagai persiapan mental dan focus peserta didik sebelum proses pembelajaran (KSE- dengan kesadaran penuh)

• Guru memberi prasyarat pengetahuan: Do you ever listen the story of Malin Kundang?/ Do you ever listen the story of Cinderella?

• Guru menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran yang akan dicapai

• Guru menyampaikan ruang lingkup penilaian pembelajaran

Kegiatan inti (65 Menit)

❖ Peserta didik dibagi ke dalam kelompok berdasarkan profil belajarnya.

❖ Guru membagi peserta didik dalam 2 kelompok. Setiap kelompok terdiri dari beberapa orang.

❖ Setiap kelompok diberi beberapa paragraph acak dari cerita narrative pendek dan sederhana oleh pendidik.

❖ Peserta didik membaca dan memahami isi dari kalimat-kalimat dalam paragraph tersebut.

❖ Peserta didik bersama-sama dalam kelompok mengurutkan dengan benar paragraph-paragraph tersebut menjadi satu teks naratif yang utuh

❖ Pendidik melakukan penilaian sikap melalui observasi saat peserta didik melakukan kegiatan dalam kelompok.

❖ Peserta didik mempersentasikan hasil kerja kelompoknya.

❖ Peserta didik diberikan informasi terkait penugasan keterampilan yaitu menulis sebuah teks naratif sederhana yang harus dibuat secara individu dengan waktu pengumpulan yang disepakati bersama.

Dalam penugasan keterampilan ini, murid diminta menulis teks narrative sederhana secara individu tentang fairy tales. Bisa dalam bentuk yang berbeda: tulisan tangan, poster, gambar, atau video (Guru melakukan diferensiasi produk)

Kegiatan Penutup

• Guru bersama peserta didik menyimpulkan materi pembelajaran.

• Guru melakukan refleksi bersama dan memberikan umpan balik kepada peserta didik

• Guru memberi motivasi/pesan kepada peserta didik untuk tetap tekun belajar dari rumah.

• Guru menutup pembelajaran sesuai dengan kebiasaan rutin yaitu doa, terima kasih, dan salam.

LAMPIRAN NARRATIVE TEXT

Definition of Narrative Text

Narrative text is a piece of text which tells a story and entertains the reader or listener.

Purpose of Narrative Text

The Purpose of Narrative Text is to amuse or to entertain the reader with a story.

Language Feature of Narrative Text – Past tense (killed, drunk, etc.)

– Adverb of time (Once upon a time, one day, a long time agoetc.) – Time conjunction (when, then, suddenly, etc.)

– Specific character. The character of the story is specific, not general. (Cinderella, Snow White, malin kundang, Alibaba, etc.)

– Action verbs. A verb that shows an action. (killed, dug, walked, etc.)

– Direct speech. It is to make the story lively. (Snow White said, ”My name is Snow White”).

The direct speech uses present tense.

Generic Structure of Narrative Text

# Orientation : It is about the opening paragraph where the characters of the story are introduced.

# Complication : Where the problems in the story developed.

# Resolution : Where the problems in the story is solved.

Rapunzel

Once, a witch stole a baby girl named Rapunzel and took her to a tall tower with no stairs or doors, but only a window.

Rapunzel had long hair, which the witch used to climb up the tower.

One day, a prince, passed by the tower, heard Rapunzel sing. He also saw the witch climb the tower.

When the witch went away, the prince climbed up the tower. Rapunzel and the prince met and fell in love with each other. Soon, the witch returned.

She cut Rapunzel's hair and left her in a desert. Then, she threw the into bushes and blinded him.

Many years passed, the blind prince wandered alone and reached the same desert. He heard Rapunzel's song, followed her voice and found her.

Rapunzel's tears of joy fell into the eyes of the prince and healed his blindness. The prince took Rapunzel to his kingdom and married her.

Sangkuriang

Dayang Sumbi was a beautiful and kind hearted princess, but sometimes she was very lazy. Her hobby was weaving cloth. One day her weaving tool fell. Tumang, a male dog, came to bring her tool back to her. As she had promised, she married him. Tuman was actually a man who had been cursed by a male to become a dog. But sometimes I could turn back to a normal man. Dayang Sumbi and Tumang got one son. His name was Sangkuriang. He did not know that Tumang was his father because he was a dog whenever he was with him. Tumang always accompanied Sangkuriang whenever he went hunting in the woods.

When he was twelve years old, Dayang Sumbi asked Sangkuriang to bring her deer's heart. But after many days in the woods, he could not find a deer. He did not want to disappoint his mother, so he killed Tumang and brought his heart home and gave it to his mother. Because of her love to Tumang, Dayang Sumbi knew, it was his heart not a deer's heart. She got very angry at Sangkuriang. She hit him with a piece of wood on his forehead and told him to go away. Badly wounded, Sangkuriang left her and the village.

One day Sangkuriang went back to his village. He was big and strong. There he met a beautiful young woman. He fell in love with her at first sight. He did not know that she was Dayang Sumbi. She could never get older because she was granted eternal youth by the gods .

One day he approached Dayang Sumbi to propose her. Dayang Sumbi saw the bad scar on his forehead. She soon realized that he was her own son, Sangkuriang. She told him the truth again and again but he would not believe her. She was thinking hard to find a way not to marry him. Then she got an idea. She gave him a task which she thought was impossible for him to do. She asked him to make her a lake and a boat in one night. She did not know Sangkuriang had genies to help him to do the task.

By dawn both the lake and the boat were almost done. Dayang Sumbi got very worried. She was thinking hard again to find a way to fail him. Then she had an idea. She asked the people in the village to burn the woods in the east, so that the light made all the cocks in the village crow. The genies thought that the morning was almost broken. They ran away as fast they could, leaving the boat unfinished.

Knowing Dayang Sumbi cheated him, Sangkuriang got very angry. He kicked the boat so hard that it went upside down. It is now known as Mount Tangkuban Perahu.

1. Once Sura and Baya were looking for some food. Suddenly, Baya saw a goat “Yummy, this is my lunch,” said Baya. “No way! This is my lunch. You are greedy” said Sura. Then they fought for the goat. After several hours, they were very tired.

2. A long time ago, there were two animals, Sura and Baya. Sura was the name of a shark and Baya was a crocodile. They lived in a sea.

3. They both hit each other. Sura bit Baya’s tail. Baya did the same thing to Sura. He bit very hard until Sura finally gave up and went back to the sea. Baya was happy.

4. One day, Sura went to the land and looked for some food in the river. He was very hungry and there was not much food in the sea. Baya was very angry when he knew that Sura broke the promise. They fought again.

5. Feeling tired of fighting, they lived in the different places. Sura lived in the water and Baya lived in the land. The border was the beach, so they would never fight again.

The Story of Toba Lake

1. Few years later, this daughter would help bringing lunch to her father out in the fields. One day, his daughter was so hungry and she ate his father’s lunch. Unfortunately, he found out and got furious, and shouted; “You damned daughter of a fish”. The daughter ran home and asked her mother. The mother started crying, felt sad that her husband had broken his promise.

2. Once upon a time, there was a man who was living in north Sumatra. He lived in a simple hut in a farming field. The did some gardening and fishing for his daily life.

3. Then she told her daughter to run up the hills because a huge disaster was about to come.

When her daughter left, she prayed. Soon there was a big earthquake followed by non-stop pouring rain. The whole area got flooded and became Toba Lake. She turned into a fish again and the man became the island of Samosir.

4. One day, while the man was do fishing, he caught a big golden fish in his trap. It was the biggest catch which he ever had in his life. Surprisingly, this fish turned into a beautiful princess. He felt in love with her and proposed her to be his wife. She said; “Yes, but you have to promise not to tell anyone about the secret that I was once a fish, otherwise there will be a huge disaster”. The man made the deal and they got married, lived happily and had a daughter.
