This study aimed to know the students perception on using Google Classroom in distance learning. This research chose descriptive research employing quantitative and qualitative analysis to analyze students perception on using Google Classroom in distance learning.The researcher took 30 students as research sample for questionnaire and 7 students for the interview by stratified random sampling.
The result of questionnaire data showed that students at SMA Negeri 9 Makassar indicated a positive response from the students on using Google Classroom in distance learning. It can be seen from the score percentage of each aspect. The student’s perception on impact of using Google Classroom were 60% and the student’s perception on motivation of using Google Classroom were 56.7%, all categorized good. Strongly agree and agree have the highest percentage of positive statements. Meanwhile interview result namely, students were not understanding the material and network connection problems in pandemic era.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa tentang penggunaan Google Classroom dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini memilih penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk menganalisis persepsi siswa tentang penggunaan Google Classroom dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh. Peneliti mengambil 30 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian untuk kuesioner dan 7 siswa untuk wawancara dengan stratified random sampling.
Hasil data angket menunjukkan bahwa siswa di SMA Negeri 9 Makassar menunjukkan respon positif siswa terhadap penggunaan Google Classroom dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase skor masing-masing aspek. Persepsi siswa tentang dampak penggunaan Google Classroom sebesar 60% dan persepsi siswa terhadap motivasi penggunaan Google Classroom sebesar 56.7%, semuanya berkategori baik. Sangat setuju dan setuju memiliki persentase pernyataan positif tertinggi. Sedangkan hasil wawancara yaitu siswa kurang memahami materi dan masalah koneksi jaringan di era pandemi.
