The researcher chose Joko Widodo's interview because the researcher wants to describe the conversational implicature in Joko Widodo's interviews on BBC News and CNBC International TV YouTube channels that the researcher found in the preliminary observation. In conclusion, based on this research, the researcher described the types and disregard of the maxims in Joko Widodo's interviews on BBC News and CNBC International TV YouTube channels. In this study, the data comes from Joko Widodo's interviews on BBC News and CNBC International TV YouTube channels.
The researcher got the data from transcripts or conversations in interviews with Joko Widodo on the BBC News and CNBC International TV YouTube channels. These videos were used as research material, with the researcher analyzing the dialogues in the video. The researcher downloaded videos and scripts about interviews of Joko Widodo on BBC News and CNBC International TV YouTube channels.
The data was taken from the videos and scripts of Joko Widodo's interviews on the BBC News and CNBC International TV YouTube channels. In the note-taking technique, the researcher took notes to record the findings of the classification of data sources and to describe the data and expression in the conversation. In the listening method, the researcher also listened to a conversation about Joko Widodo's interviews on BBC News and CNBC International TV YouTube channels and then took notes from the videos.
The researcher focuses only on the identification of types and the disparagement of maxims in President Joko Widodo's interviews on the BBC News and CNBC International TV YouTube channels. The researcher completes the identification and then compares the data with several previous studies relevant to this research, namely the conversational implication of Joko Widodo's interview on BBC News and CNBC International YouTube channels. The researcher chose the research area and formulated the research problems and theory used in this study.
General Data
Data Description
In this chapter, the findings and discussion are divided into two parts based on the types of conversational implicature. There are 8 data of generalized conversational implicatures and 7 data of particularized conversational implicatures. In the contempt maxim of conversational implicature, the researcher found 15 data, which include the contempt maxim of quantity, the maxim of contempt of quality, and the maxim of contempt of manner.
There are twelve data of maxims flouted in terms of quantity, one data of maxims ignored in terms of quality, and two data of maxims ignored in terms of manner.
Discussion
The President's statements "This is where I come from and this is where I was born" contain an implication. The implication of the President's utterances is to emphasize that the President is from Solo and he is not shy to come from the riverside slum. Although in the president's statements he did not provide the necessary information to answer the journalist's question.

Conclusion
Communication is important in human interaction to convey intentions or meanings of utterances, but sometimes people are not always clear and to the point in conveying intentions. Gris's theory was used to identify conversational implicature, particularly in derogatory types and maxims of conversational implicature. The researcher conducted interviews of President Joko Widodo on the BBC News and CNBC International TV channels on YouTube.
Based on the findings of the above research, in this finding the researcher found 15 data on the types of conversational implications. In the conflicting principles of conversational implicature, the researcher found 15 clues that include the ignored maxim of quantity, the ignored maxim of quality and the ignored maxim of manner.
