Annual Summer Coaching Camp Inaugurated in Ukkunagaram
Dr GBS Prasad, Director (Personnel), RINL-VSP inaugurated the Annual Summer Coaching Camp 2014 held at Col CK Nayudu Ukku Stadium in Ukkunagaram today.
Around 800 children are participating in this 15 days mega camp.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr GBS Prasad assured that Sports is being given lot of importance in VSP and advised employees & children to make use of the large scale Sports infrastructure and facilities. He emphasized the need for good physical fitness and health. Dr Prasad appreciated the efforts of the Sports Dept. for conducting the camp with sporting spirit and admired the commitment of all the coaches. Later, he
distributed Caps to the Coaches and participating children. Certificates of participation will be given to children at the end of the camp. Earlier, Sri MS Kumar, AGM (Sports) welcomed the participants.
Sri K Madhava Rao, President, SEA, Sri D Adinarayana General Secretary Recognized Union, Sri S Appala Raju, General Secretary SC/ST Association Senior Executives, Parents and Sports lovers took part in the function.
38 Coaches will impart coaching in 13 disciplines. The camp is being organized for two sessions daily. Diet comprising of sprouts, boiled egg and lime juice will be provided to the participants daily. Camp is being organized in Athletics, Shuttle Badminton, Chess, Basketball, lawn Tennis, Volleyball, Football, Hockey, Cricket, Throw Ball , Boxing , Roller Skating and Yoga. An impressive march past was displayed by 800 participants along with CISF Band.
