DEPARTMENT OF SANSKRIT - 2020-21
Due to the Pandemic, classes were started in online mode. All the classes were recorded and shared to the students through Moodle platform and Google class rooms. Assignments were given in google form , and students participated in the same with great enthusiasm.
Online competitions were organized in connection with Sanskrit Day Celebration. Webinar on Sanskrit - The cultural language of India in connection with Sanskrit Day Celebration organized by Department of Sanskrit in association with Samskruthi Club on 30th July 2020, Thursday . Speaker : Dr. Lakshmi Sankar Head & Asst. Professor, Dept. of Sanskrit, Sree Krishna College Guruvayoor. 250 students and staff participated in this also e-certificates were distributed. The cultural Competitions and various programmes organized by Dept. of Sanskrit in connection with Sanskrit Week Celebrations 2020
Sanskrit Learning Students from our College were selected to be part of the valuable Interactive session& Orientation session with Padmasree Kalamandalam Sivan Namboothiri and Kalamandalm Charu Aguru on 13th Dec 2020. Our College is one of the six Institutions got selected from Trichur District. Organized the online competition named IMPRESSIONS IN THE TIME OF CORONA - kausaladharitha prathiyogitha. A Webinar was organized on *THE PLAY URUBHANGA OF BHASA by Department of Sanskrit in association with IQAC on 1st December 2020 , Speaker : Dr. Santhosh C R Asst. Professor Dept. of Sanskrit, Sree Narayana Guru College , Chelannur, Kozhikode. Dept. of Sanskrit has got an opportunity to host a National Level Programme sponsored by IIT Delhi , organized by Spicmacay( Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth Date 6/2/21, Time 3pm
