RESEARCH CLUB 2017-2018

The research club activities of the department of history for this academic year began with some enrichment programmes. The research club members conducted a symposium “Protection of our Mother Earth” and a caption making competition in connection with World Environment Day on 5th june 2017. Dr.Arun Thomas.M, Assistant Professor Department of History inaugurated the symposium on 28th june 2017. The department organized an awareness class for the department students in connection with Anti- Narcotic Day on ‘Anti- Narcotic activities’ on 5th july 2017, the department conducted a fresher’s day celebration for first year students of the department. Research club members observed Anti- Hiroshima day on 6th August 2017. A seminar was conducted on this day. It was inaugurated and delivered lecture by Dr.Anto Florance.P. Rtd HOD and Associate Professor, Department of History.

Research club members of the department published a manuscript ‘Historia’was released on 1st November 2017.
