The Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare invites online OPEN TENDER through e- tendering in prescribed tender forms

for

hiring services of 4 workers through an Agency for shifting various items of stores (i.e office equipments, furniture, furnishings, electrical and stationery etc.) for

its

offices located in New Delhi area i.e.

at

Krishi Bhawan, Shastri Bhawan, Nirman Bhawan, Janpath Bhawan (Connaught Place). The volume & nature of proposed shifting work is of purely casual nature depending upon the official requirement which is un-predictable.

Details of the eligibility criteria, Scope of work and Special terms & conditions of the contract are given below:-

Elieibilitv Criteria:

The firm should be registered with relevant authorities (Certificate

of

Incorporation, Registration with service tax, PAN No, E.P.F. No., ESIC

No.)

(Self attested copies

of

Registrations

to

be enclosed).The service provider should have not been black-listed by any Central/State Government agency.

The firm should have similar experience lN last three years in Government Sector/pSU etc.(Attested copies of Certificates/work orders to be enclosed).

TERMS & CONDITIONS

For timely and proper performance of the assigned work the Agency is required to depute 4 workers at the disposal of G.A Section, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi.

The manpower is required to report for work on six days in a week (i.e from Monday to Saturday of every week) from 9.00 a.m.

to

6.00

p.m.

Occasion may arise when the work may have

to

be carried out on Sunday also, for which extra payment shall not be admissible.

The Agency is required to render the services asked for to the entire satisfaction of this Department. In

case, services rendered by

the

Agency are found unsatisfactory,

this

Department is

free.to

make deductions of Rs 500/- on each case of default from the bills on the account of default/ non performance of the assigned work.

As already indicated the shifting work is of casual nature. In case, on a certain day, the quantum of work increase phenomenally, the agency will not be allowed to absent

itself

or refuse to attend to the work assigned under any circumstances and if

the

Department is compelled

to

hire causal labour from the other sources on refusal by

the

Agency to such

work

the expenditure so incurred by the Department shall be deducted from the bills of the Agency.

This Department

will

provide vehicular assistance

for

effective shifting

of

office items, wherever required. For no other purpose, this Department will provide any vehicle or transportation charges to the Agency to be engaged.

This Department shall have no liability, financialor otherwise, for any harm/damage/injury caused to the manpower deployed by the Agency in the course of performing work of this Department. Neither the Agency nor his workers shall have any claim on this Department for compensation or financial assistance on this account.

The firm is responsible to pay the remuneration to the labourers as per minimum wages Act of Govt. of

NCT of Delhi. The rates once quoted by the firm will not be increased during contract period except, rn

the case of increased in minimum wages by Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

There

will

be no master servant relationship between Govt.

&

Labourers. All the responsibilities for payment wages etc is held with the contractor.

The firm/agency should be registered underthe relevant Act to provide such services and a copy of the Registration certificate may also be provided alongwith the quotation.

The damage caLlsed, if any to the property of the Government through negligence or otherwise, shall be

at risk and responsibility of the Agency. The financial or any other loss suffered by the Government on this account shall be made good by the Agency.

The firm shall comply with the provisions of Minimum Wages

Act

i.946 and any other rules, regulation and/or Statues as may be applicable to them from time

to

time.

3.15 The monthly rates shall have

to

be mentioned both in figures and words as per financial bid. There should be no erasing or overwriting, whatsoever. The rate quoted below minimum wages and without service charges shall not be entertained at any stage.

3.16

The payment for services shall be made on a monthly basis for which Agency shall submit the bill month which should be accompanied by EPFIESIC details and deposited challan.

3.L7

The contract may be extended further period of two years based upon the satisfactory performance of the I'irm.

The Department of Agriculture, Cooperation

&

Farmers Welfare reserves the right

to

accept or reject offer of tenderers or scrap tender without assigning any reason and no claim in this regard

shall

be

entertained. The decision of Deputy Secretary/Director(GA) shall be final in this regard.

3.19

The tender document must be signed by

the

tenderers

on

every page otherwise

the

bids

will

be summarily rejected.
