TERMS AND GONDITIONS ^:

The contract for binding of PBR Bills/Service BooURecords/Library Books/Registers Stitching

of

Files, vouchers, papers,

etc. in the

Department

of

Agriculturd &

Cooperition shall be in ^forcefor a period of one year w.e.f. the date of award of contract. The contraqt may be further extended upto three ^yearsby HOD subject to satisfactorily performance of contractor. The decision

of

HOD in this ^regard will be final.

The contractor will depute

a

binder to execute the

job

_{in the}office itself and the material for binding shall not be allowed

to

be taken outside the building for this purpose. The work is ^requiredto be executed within the prescribed time limit and after binding, the material is to be handed over to the concerned Section/Division daily without leaving anything in the open space provided for binding work.

The contractor shall obtain user's certificates regarding satisfactory completion ^{of the} binding

work.

The deductions equivalent

to the

approved rates for the item ^of binding shall be made from the bill in case the binding of the item is not satisfactory.

lf in any case, the firm is ^{not able}to do the work, the same shall be got done from some other firm or from the open market at the cost of the contract and the extra expenditure incurred thereon shall be recovered from

him.

This shall entail the termination of the contract, forfeiture of the performance security and debar for any future contracts from the Department for at least for three years.

The contractor shall be responsible for ^paymentof wages/Settlement of dues with workers engaged by the firm as per prevailing labor/wages laws.

The damage caused,

if

any,

to

^property

of the

Government and any document provided tor OinOing, through negligence or otherwise, shall be at the risk, cost and responsibility of the contractor.

No advance payment will be made. The Payment shall be made on production of a user's certificate along-with the ^{bill as}stated above.

The Department reserves the right

to

terminate the contract

at

any time ^without assigning any reason

ln case any deficiency is found in work, the Department reserves the right to recover a sum equ al to 2o/o of total cost of the particular bill as ^penalty.
