TERMS AND CONDITIONS :

The contract for binding of PBR Bills/Service Book/Records/Library Books/Registers

Stitching

of

Files, vouchers, papers,

etc. in the

Department

of

Agriculture &

Cooperation shall be in force for a ^periodof one year w.e.f. the date of award of contract. The contract may be further extended upto three years by ^HODsubject to satisfactorily performance of contractor. The decision of HOD in this regard will be final.

The bidder who quoted L-1 rates

for

maximum items

will

be given the offer to match the lowest rates of other items as quoted _bythe other bidde(s).

The contractor will depute

a

binder to execute the job in the office itself and the material for binding shall not be allowed to be taken outside the building for this purpose. The work is required to be executed within the prescribed time limit and

after binding, the material is to be handed over to the concerned Section/Division daily without leaving anything in the open space provided for binding work.

The contractor shall obtain user's certificates regarding satisfactory completion of the binding

work.

The deductions equivalent

to

the approved rates for the item of binding shall be made from the bill in case the binding of the item is not satisfactory.

lf in any case, the firm is not able to do the work, the same shall be got done from some other firm or from the open market at the cost of the contract and the extra expenditure incurred thereon shall be recovered from

him.

This shall entail the termination of the contract, forfeiture of the performance security and debar for any future contracts from the Department for at least for three years.

The contractor shall be responsible for ^paymentof wages/Settlement of dues with workers engaged by the flrm as ^perprevailing labor/wages laws.

The damage caused,

if

any,

to

^property

of

the Government and any document provided for binding, through negligence or otherwise, shall be at the risk, cost and responsibility of the contractor.

No advance payment will be made. The Payment shall be made on production of a user's certificate along-with the bill as stated above.

The Department reserves the right

to

terminate the contract at any time without assigning any reason.

ln case any deficiency is found in work, the Department reserves the right to recover a sum equal to 3% of total cost of the particular bill as penalty.
