Abstract
A Study on the Improvement Policies of Logistics Security System in Korea

After the 911 terror of the United States in 2001, advanced countries have strengthened the logistics security system in terms of supply chain management, initiated the inspection systems of logistics security and made efforts to negotiate the agreement of security inspection among countries. This trends have influenced in many respects on the logistics industries in the world.
The reason to strengthen the logistics security in the world is that because of terrors, there have taken place damages of life and property and the phenomena of distorted logistics to interrupt the international trade routes.
Korea has perceived the importance of logistics security in 2006, made many researches about logistics security and
implemented many policies to improve our system of logistics security, but compared with advanced countries' system of logistics security, our system has many shortcomings and limitations to keep track of advanced logistics systems efficiently.
In our study, we tried to find out some policies to improve our logistics security systems. At first, through literature survey of this academic field, we derived many problems of logistics security in our country and found out some solutions from questionares of workers of logistics industry
From this study, the most important problems our country should solve are the lack of establishment of logistics security system in terms of logistics security system and the lack of port security system in terms of technology aspects.
