Students are introduced to the fun of science through hands-on interactive experiments, engage in laboratory- based skills and have opportunities to participate in an outdoor program and entertainment. The main objective of SCUKM 2013 is to encourage student interest and excellence in science by demonstrating how science works in real world. Besides helping students in observation, measurement, identification of properties, and experimentation involving chemical and physical science concepts, all SCUKM programs are presented in nurturing environment where students build self-esteem while learning, gain a new constructive interaction with other participants, academic and researcher, and emphasize the social value of thoughtful scientific leadership and careers.

We believe that every child is a scientist and that we can make them even better scientists.

Science Camp 2013 (SCUKM 2013) is a science education programme organised by the School of Chemical Sciences and Food Technology, Faculty of Science & Technology, UKM in collaboration with Faculty of Science & Technology Undergraduate Organization (PMFST). Our unique science programmes are designed to promote science to students ages 13 to 14 by conducting comprehensive informal science activities.
