It is with great pleasure that on behalf of organizing committee, I would like to extend to you an invitation to attend the “35th International Conference on Natural Products (ICNP 2019) - a joint conference organized by Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and Malaysian Natural Product Society (MNPS). The conference will take place on March 26-28, 2019 at Hilton Kuching, Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, the Malaysian UNESCO 'City of Unity' .
The theme of ICNP 2019 is “New Trends in Natural Products: Spanning the Research and Products
Commercialization Gap” and its will cover a broad range of scientific disciplines within natural product research. The scientific programme includes plenary lectures by invited speakers, keynote/short talks on recent topics of natural product research and poster sessions to provide more opportunities for scientific discussions. We hope that the highlights of the conference are timely and relevant topics.
Abstracts for consideration as Oral Presentations and Poster Presentations will be evaluated by the members of the scientific committee on the basis of scientific merit and novelty as well as practical application.

INTRODUCTION
The International Conference on Natural Products 2019 (ICNP2019) is an annual event of Malaysian Natural Product Society (MNPS). This year Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) has been given the honour of hosting the conference which will be held on 26-28 March 2019 in Hilton Kuching, Kuching, Sasrawak Malaysia.
The aim of this conference is to bring together the academicians, scientists, researchers, practitioners and students to exchange and share the experiences and research findings on all aspects of natural products. It also provides an interdisciplinary platform to present and discuss the recent innovations, trends and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in natural products and related fields. Several well known speakers and the most recent techniques, developments, the newest updates in Natural chemistry research are hallmarks of this conference.
OBJECTIVES
To showcase recent findings of natural products research in Malaysia and other participating countries.
To share recent development and advanced techniques and instrumentation employed in natural products research.
To provide collaborative and networking platform for local and international scientist in natural products research

CONFERENCE SCOPE
ICNP2018 seeks submissions from academia, scientist, researchers and postgraduate students to present novel research findings in all practical and theoretical aspects in the field of natural products. Papers should be related but not limited to the following research scopes: Natural product researh; Pharmacognosy and phytochemistry;
Bioinformatics and chemoinformatics; Metabolomics and profiling technologies; Ethnobotany and ethnopharmacology; Traditional and complimentary medicines; Synthetic and semisynthetic approaches in natural product research; Production and formation technologies of herbal products; Bioactivity of natural products; Biomaterial engineering.
