Memorandum of Agreement between UPLB and G.A. Machineries, Inc. (GAM I), pertaining to the project "General Test of Selected Vegetable Crops"
Under this agreement. the UPLB shall undertake a general test of selected vegetable crops, with financial support from GAM I in the amount of P31,737.19. The Agreement covers a period of one year.

I. Memorandum of Agreement with the Commission on Audit (COA) Formalizing the Establishment of the Public Affairs Research and Development Center (PARDEC)
Under this agreement. the PAR DEC shallbeestablished on the Diliman campus. subject to existing policies and regulations of the U.P.
Note: The Board approved the establishment of a Public Audit Research Center as a joint Up-eGA project at its 912th meeting on 29 March 1979.
In connection with this, a Memorandum of Agreement with the CGA for the erection of a building within the Public Affairs complex site on the Diliman Campus of the University agrees to house the Public Affairs Research and Development Center (PARDEC) which shall be a joint Up-eGA project.
The College of Public Administration or any of its units involved in the establishment and operations of the PARDEC shall be provided suitable and adequate quarters with the necessary furniture, equipment, and utilities in the PARDEC.
The Agreement specifies that a separate Memorandum of Agreement shalt cover the conditions for the joint operation by the eGA and the V.P. ofthe PARDEe.
2. Memorandum of Agreement Between VPLB and the Technical Board for Agricultural Credit (TBAC) re a Research Project Entitled
"Capital Formation and Entrepreneurship' in Rural Philippines: Pilot Survey"
Under this agreement. the project shallbeundertaken by the Center for Policy and Development Studies, UPLB, with financial support
from the TBAC in the amount of PIO,950.00 for the pilot study period only. the duration of which shall be 12 weeks.
3. Memorandum of Agreement Between UPLB and the Ministry of Energy (ME) re a Project Entitled "Solar Crop Dryers Research and Development Project"
The agreement provides that the research project shall be im- plemented by the UPLB and supported by the ME Bureau of Energy Development which binds itself to make available the total amount of PI.3 million for the two-year project.
4. Memorandum of Agreement with the University of Southern Philippines (U.S.P.) re the Academic Program of the Former V.P.
Extension Division Davao.
Under this agreement:
The U.P. and the U.S.P. have agreed to continue, onajoint basis, the academic program of the former U.P. Extension Division Davao as the
"U.P. Master of Management Program in Davao," to enable the students already enrolled therein as of the 1979 summer term to graduate under the U.P.
The administration of the academic affairs of the program (which includes appointment of the faculty. control of the academic program, and enforcement of academic rules as well as rules on student discipline is the responsibility of theV.P.
The U.S.P. will administer the administrative affairs of the program (which includes appointing the academic non-teaching and ad- ministrative personnel, providing funds for personnel services cor- responding to both academic and non-academic positions. materials, supplies. and equipment, maintaining all necessary support services.

The agreement took effect on 27 July 1979, and will be in force until the end of summer 1982.
Adequate provisions have been incorporated in the agreement whereby the U.S.P. will reimburse the V.P. whatever has been obligated or spent by the latter for the former U.P. Extension Division Davao during CY 1979, considering that the advice of allotment for the program corresponding to the first and second quarters of 1979initially released to the U.P. has been withdrawn by the Ministry of the Budget.
