ANG MABUTING BALITA (Mt. 22: 1-14)
Ang Mabuting Balita ng Panginoon ayon kay San Mateo
Muling nagsalita si Hesus sa pamamagitan ng mga talinhaga: “Tungkol sa nangyayari sa kaharian ng Langit ang kwentong ito:
May isang haring naghanda sa kasal ng kanyang anak na lalaki. Ipinatawag niya sa mga katulong ang mga imbitado sa kasalan ngunit ayaw nilang dumalo.
Muli niyang pinapunta ang iba pang mga katulong para sabihin sa mga inanyayahan sa kasalan: ‘Naghanda ako ng pagkain, nagpatay ng mga toro at mga pinatabang hayop; handa na ang lahat kaya pumarito na kayo sa kasalan.’ Ngunit hindi nila pinansin ang paanyaya, sa halip ay may pumunta sa kanyang taniman, at sa kanyang negosyo naman ang isa pa.
Sinunggaban naman ng iba pa ang mga katulong ng hari, nilibak at pinatay.
Lubhang nagalit ang hari kaya’t ipinadala niya ang kanyang hukbo para puksain ang mga mamamatay-tao at sunugin ang lunsod. At sinabi niya sa kanyang mga katulong: ‘Handa na ang kasalan ngunit hindi karapat-dapat ang mga inanyayahan.
Pumunta kayo ngayon sa dulo ng lunsod at anyayahan sa kasalan ang bawat makita ninyo.’
Kaya agad na lumabas sa mga daan ang mga katulong at tinipon ang lahat ng makita, masama at mabuti, napuno ang kasalan ng mga nasa hapag. Pagkatapos ay dumating ang hari para tingnan kung sino ang mga nasa hapag at napansin niya ang isang lalaking hindi nakadamit-pampiyesta. Kaya sinabi niya sa kanya: ‘Kaibigan, paano ka nakapasok nang walang damit pangkasal?’ Ngunit hindi umimik ang tao. Kaya sinabi ng hari sa kanyang mga katulong: ‘Igapos ang kanyang mga kamay at paa, at itapon sa dilim, kung saan may iyakan at pagngangalit ng ngipin.’
Pagninilay:
Marami ngang talaga ang tinawag pero kaunti ang pinili. Mapalad ang tao kapag siya ay tinawag at pinili. Sa ganitong mga pagkakataon, tayo ay buong galak na tumugon sa paanyaya ng Panginoon sa mga gawain na higit na kailangan ang iyong presensya at pagtulong. Palalampasin mo ba ang ganitong mga paanyaya? Si Kristo na mismo ang nag-aanyaya sa iyo.
Panalangin:
Amang Makapangyarihan, turuan mo po kaming makatugon sa iyong panawagan sa amin. Amen.

1. Grades 1-6 students should wear the Type B uniform every Wednesday except those with P.E. classes. Preschool should start wearing the Type B in September.
2. New students are advised to wear jeans and white shirt during P.E. days, jeans and green shirt every Wednesday until their uniforms become available.

a. Proceed to your respective classrooms during assembly time. No one should be seen loitering or playing around.
b. Follow the CLAYGO policy anywhere in the campus. Let’s help one another to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
c. Be familiar with the schedule of your classes especially the dismissal time. Remember to stay at the designated gates where your guardians/ drivers will pick you up.
d. Follow the “Keep Right” rule whenever you transport to another venue specially when using the ramps and stairs.
e. Turn off the lights and ceiling fans and make sure the doors are locked every time you leave the classroom.
f. Sitting on the railings is strictly prohibited. Be safe always.
g. Follow the lunch break policy.
h. Observe silence and pray fervently during prayer time.
5. Grades 4 -6 students are reminded of the following lunch break rules.
a. You may have your lunch at any of the IS canteens.
b. You may stay at the canteen until 12:20pm.
c. Observe CLAYGO and proper table manners.
d. Staying in the classroom and along the corridors is discouraged.
e. Turn away from playing and running so as not to encounter untoward incidents.
f. Pray fervently during the Angelus.
g. Go back to the classroom at 12:20pm in an orderly manner.
h. Stay inside the classroom while waiting for the next period.

Please be informed that the Mathematics Teachers Association of the Philippines
(MTAP)
in collaboration with DepEd is offering a Saturday Mathematics Program for Regular Students.The Mathematics Program for Regular Students aims to:
a. provide learners with the opportunity to explore Mathematics without the threat of tests;
b. review the materials covered last school year to enable the pupils to do well in Mathematics this school year c. prepare the Grade 6 and 10 learners for the private school’s entrance examinations for Junior High School
and Senior High School; and
d. prepare them for the local, regional, national and international Mathematics competitions.
The 2018 MTAP – DepEd Saturday Mathematics Program for Regular Students will be conducted for six Saturdays from September 1 to October 6, 2018 at 8:00am to 12:00nn with a minimal fee of Php200 for all the sessions which must be paid on or before August 29, 2018. This will be held at Padre Valerio Malabanan Memorial School.
In connection with this, letter to parents will be distributed by your respective Math teacher regarding the said activity.

Maligayang Pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2018: “Wika ng Saliksik”
Bakit tinawag na wikang Filipino ang wikang Pilipino?
Malalim ang naging batik ng akusasyong “purismo” noong dekada 60 laban sa Wikang Pambansa na tinawag na Pilipino. Ang pangalan mismo ay patunay na Tagalog pa rin ito. Bakit? Dahil ang “Pilipino” ay nakabatay sa naging bigkas at baybay sa “Pilipinas” alinsunod sa abakadang Tagalog na may 20 titik. Walang titik F ang abakada dahil walang tunog na F sa Tagalog. Kaya ang lahat ng salitang hiniram na Espanyol na may tunog na F ay tinapatan ng tunog at titik P. Ang forma ay naging “porma,” ang fino ay “pino,” ang farol ay “parol.” At kaya ang “Pilipino” ay maituturing na anak ng naganap na transpormasyong “Pilipinas” sa Tagalog.
Ang pagtawag na “Filipino” sa Wikang Pambansa ng 1987 Konstitusyon ay may mahihiwatigang bagong mithiin.
Una, nais nitong ihiwalay ang Wikang Pambansa sa batik na Tagalog ng “Pilipino.” Ikalawa, nais nitong ipanukala ang saloobin na totoong payamanin at linangin ang Filipino bilang isang Wikang Pambansa sa pamamagitan ng mga katutubong wika ng bansa. Ang saloobing ito ay nakapahiwatig na sa 1935 Konstitusyon ngunit hindi dibdibang tinupad ng Surian ng Wikang Pambansa sa pagbuo ng wikang Pilipino. Kaya kapag pinag-aralan kahit ang bokabularyo ng wikang Pilipino batay sa diksiyonaryong Pilipino noong 1972 ni J.V. Panganiban, higit lamang umunlad ang Wikang Pambansa sa pamamagitan ng patuloy na paghiram sa Espanyol at paghiram sa Ingles. Mabibilang sa daliri ang mga salita mula sa ibang katutubong wika.
Nasa pangalang “Filipino” samakatwid ang panukala noon at ngayon na mula sa batayang Tagalog ay aktibong ilahok sa pag-unlad ng Wikang Pambansa ang mga wikang katutubo ng Pilipinas.
