descriptive cross-sectional design wasutilized in which the
data were collectedfrom ll7
patients and 127 nursesin five
hospitals through convenient sampling usingIBM
SPSS v20. The PSC dimensionof
teamworkwithin
units was identifiedto
be the strongestpoint while
the non-punitive responseto
errors dimension was the weakest point. Among the patients, the hospital care dimension on discharge information was the strongest point while the hospital environment was rated least. Based on the findings,it
was concluded that there werea
numberof
areas that need to be improved in the areas of patient safety culture and quality ofpatient care.
