how chemotherapy affects the patient's body, countrieslike
the Philippines experience a lack of appreciation and understanding regarding chemotherapeutic therapy. The purposeof
this research is
to
have a focused effiortto
understandhow
patients feel regardingtheir
condition andwhat they
experiencewhen
they undergo chemotherapy. As the research study used people'slife
as a basis, aswell
as analyzedit, the
study usedthe
qualitative type of research design.A
phenomenological approachof
qualitative study was used.In
accordance
with
phenomenological research perspective, purposive sampling wasutilized in which the
participantswere
selectedin
accordanceto the
needof the
study. The participants are all patients from a selected private hospitalin
Angeles City; all arewithin
legal age, has a diagnosis of Cancer and had undergone chemotherapy. Due to the nature of the study Colaizzi's Phenomenological method was
utilized to
analyze the qualitative data. Thejourney of the
cancer patientsthrough
chemotherapy was explored further, their life of vagueness,their
tainted self-worth, andtheir
