Englishin Indonesian is only a foreign language (EFL), not a second language (ESL). 3 However, English is only a special foreign language usually taught asa subject inschools. The fact that the Indonesian language is also an important language (not just a vernacular) dominating important functions such as political, economic, academic, social, etc. In Indonesian society certainly can impose a barrier towards efforts in acquiring the English language. 4 Should Englishasamediumofinstruction be implemented, students and teachers are likely to get exposure to Englishas comprehensible input and opportunity to use Englishas comprehensible output only in the classroom, while the general atmosphere (macrocosm) may act asa pressure against it? 5
In this section, the writer gives some suggestions related to the result of the research. Hopefully, this research will be useful and gives a great contribution for the readers. There are some valuable suggestions which are addressed to the English teachers, the students, and the other researchers. They are listed below:
a. Strongly agree are active coping, Suppression of competing activities, restraining coping, seeking social support for instrumental, turning to religion, denial, and mental disengagement. While in this research the writer used some step to establish based on the clustering random sampling technique. Firstly, the writer chosen the major subgroup (school)randomly for 10% from the total of population: 40:10%= 4 major subgroup / seniorhighschools, namely;MAN Model PalangkaRaya (Islamic seniorhigh school), MA Muslimat – N.U PalangkaRaya (Islamic seniorhigh school), SMA Negeri 4 PalangkaRaya and SMK Negeri 2 PalangkaRaya. Secondly, the writer selecta random sampleof one minor subgroup (class)on the second grade from within each these schoolsin total there are 4 classes, namely; XI-Bahasa of MAN Model, XI-IPA of MA Muslimat N.U, XI-Bahasa / 10 of SMA Negeri 4, and XI-APK / 01 of SMK Negeri 2. The last step, the writer includes all students from each of these classes in totally 134 studentsas the samples.
The Grammar-Translation Method is not new. It has had different names, but it has been used by language teachers for many years. At one time it was called the Classical Method since it was first used in the teachingof the classical languages, Latin and Greek. Earlier in the 20th century, this method was used for the purpose of helping students to read and appreciate foreign language literature. The observation was done in Monday August 13 th , 2016 at 07.00- 09.15 WIB. Based on the observation, the condition of the class almost same with the observation before. But, in this observation, when the English teachers come to the class, the students still make a noise although all of them there is in the class. After calm down, The English teachers greeting and opened the study and then gave some suggestion to the students to do not make noise when the lesson is begin. After that, the English teachers write of the material that has given by the teachers in the book and explain about material. And then, the English teachers gave game for to study vocabulary like as guess game and puzzle. And also, ask to the students if did not understand. But, all them nothing asked about material.

However, the studentsof SMAN-1 PalangkaRaya that the writer picked up as population and language class at XI grade as sample.

The acquisition of foreign language espencially Englishas an international language has become more important in facing the globalization era in which the nature is the mobility of interaction among some countries to do the cooperation in some fields such as communication, politics, diplomacy, international trade and industry, education science and technology. Indonesia, that is located ina strategy area, will get a strong effect of this phenomenon. Ordinary people especially the old generations might not feel the direct effect caused by the globalization era. However, the young learners as the next generations have to be ready in facing the effect of the globalization era.
Item 2, 5, 8, 9, and 11 were items that more considered about English than Indonesia. These items were indicated the students’ alignments to refuse and disagreed about something that pointed to Englishasmediumofinstruction. This is related to the theories and ideas on chapter II pages 17-21 like Willis said in his book about applying Englishin the English class. Richards also stated that English should be applied inEnglish class. The last, a classic theory (Direct Method) underlined the using Englishin the class mostly.
