ABSTRACT:
Warehouses play a key role in supply chams of any business and organization. The warehouse system helps an enterprise ensure its continuous production and satisfy its customers' needs by timely supplying goods. However, the warehouse management efficiency is a current challenge for Viemamese businesses in the context of rapid development of global logistics and technology. The cost of warehouse management accounts for a significant proportion of the total production cost of businesses. Meanwhile, the experience of many FDI enterprises operating in Vietnam hss shown that the warehouse management would be prioritized in the whole production chain. This paper proposes indicators to evaluate the warehouse management efficiency of enterprises which have distribution warehouses in Viemam by analyzing cases.
This paper's findings show that the warehouse management efficiency indicator of Vietnamese enterprises is mcomplete and it should be simplified. In addition, the findings show that there are significant differences in warehouse management approaches among business groups.
