CORRELATION BETWEEN THE SHOVEL- SHAPED I N a S O R S A N D MESIODISTAL CROWN DIAMETERS OF THE MAXILLARY CENTRAL^ LATERAL I N a S O R S , FIRST M O U R

Objectives: The aim of this study was: ,[l),to determine the mesiodistal crown diameters of ' maxillary central, lateral incisors, first molar; (2) to '^

determine the correlation between shovel-shaped;'1 incisors and the mesiodistal crown diameters of maxiliary central, lateral incisors, first molar.

Materials and method: With the descriptive cross - 1 sectional and analytic study design, the sample,-i consisted 100 dental casts (at the age of 20-23). % Shovel-shaped incisors were evaluated and classified | by Hrdlicka (1920) method. The mesiodistal crown * diameters were measured by Moorrees (1957) method. Results: The mesiodistal crown diameters of male were higher than female, there were no significant differences (p>0.05). There' were positive • correlation between shovel-shaped incisora and the mesiodistal crown diameters of central, lateral ingsors (r=0.42, r=0.34). II. DOI TU'QNG VA PHITONG PHAP NGHIEN CCfU 1. Doi tu'dng nghien cihi

- Chpn mau ngau nhien he thdng dap tfng vdi tieu chuan chpn miu.

- Tieu chuan chpn mau: bd rang vTnh vien cd du 24-28 rang tren cung ham (cd the cd hoac khdng cd rang khdn); rang khdng bj sau vd Idn hoac phuc hinh; khdng cd tinh trang mdn rang qua mtfc d mat nhai hoac mat bdn; chu^ trai qua dieu tn chinh hinh rang mat

- Loai khdi nghien ctfu mau ham bi bpt, bj khiem kiiuyet d nhffng vj tri la diem mdc do.

Op 0: Khdng cd hinh xeng: khdng cd dau vet nao cua gd men hay phan Idm

Op 1: Cd vet hinh xeng; dau vet cua gd men ro nhtfng chu^ du de xet vao mtfc dp ban xeng

Op 2: Hinh xeng trung binh: gd men rd nhtfng phan lom mat trong cdn can
