This research was conducted in order lo esdmale the effect ofUgld tntemlly on growth, prceln and lipid canlenls of Spirulina platensis. Algae were cultured In Erienmeyerflask in volume of500ml In 5. levels of 1.000. 2,000. 3.000 and 5.000 lux wUh Ihe salinity between 30-32%,. The results showed d«,l, llghtMeml^

effected on Ihe growth afS. platensis. In which. 1,000. 2,000. 3.000. 4.000 and 5.000 lux had die maximum densily afl.23 OD. 1.36 OO. 2.64. 0.95 and 0.84 OD. respectively (P<O.OS). Specifically 3000 hagme the highesi maximum density on the day 13 Similarly, light inlenslty also effected on the protein and lipid camene ofS. platensis. In 1000 lax.
