The Chief Justice has amended the directions in CCT 323/18 dated 2 May 2019 and the directions in CCT 69/19 dated 15 May 2019 and has issued the following directions:
1. The applications are set down to be heard together on Thursday, 22 August 2019 at 10h00.
2. The applicants should jointly, on or before Thursday, 13 June 2019, file a single, consolidated and paginated record in accordance with rule 20(1) and (2) of this Court’s Rules containing only those portions of the record that are strictly necessary for the determination of the issues.
3. Written argument, including argument on the merits of the application, must be lodged by–
a) Both applicants in CCT 323/18 and CCT 69/19 on or Thursday, 27 June 2019;
b) The respondents in CCT 323/18 and CCT 69/19, on or before Thursday, 11 July 2019; and
c) The amicus curiae in CCT 323/18 on or before Thursday, 11 July 2019.
4. Further directions may be issued.
