The Chief Justice has issued the following directions:
1. In the light of the affidavits filed by the First Respondent and Second Respondent on 20 December 2011 and the promulgation of the Government Employees Pension Law Amendment Act 19 of 2011 in Government Gazette No. 34864 on 14 December 2011, the applicant is required to address in her written submissions, due by 16 January 2012, the question of mootness of the application that is on the roll for 28 February 2012.
2. Further directions may be issued in due course.
