Zionist Youth Activities.

NORTHERN DISTRICTS ZIONIST YOUTH SOCIETY.

Th first meeting of the year was hf'ld at the home of Esme Nochomo- witz, on Sunday, 2nd March. The meeting wa well attended and the following committee was elected for the year: Chairman, Maurie Berelo- witz; Vif'e-chairrnan, Norman Spiro;

Secretary, Esme Nochomowitz; Trca- .-urer, Sylvia 1\larcus; Librarian, Freda Scher.

The next meeting will b held at the re idence of Rae Hill 011 ~ unday, the 16th instant.

VILLIERSDORP ZIONIST YOUTH SOCIETY.

A new society has been establish d at Villier dorp. It consist of J 2 pupils of the local . chool, and ha.

b en formed by l\lr. Simon Rabino- witz, an ex-Young Israel Camper, who has been elected Chairman of th~

. ociety. They have b gun a course of study on the pattern of the Zionist Formn at camp.

A succe sful meeting of the society took place on Friday evening, 28th February, at the residence of Mr.

Egert who gave a revi w of tlH' political i:;ituation. After the talk there was a lengthy discussion in which most of the members partici- pated.

A talent competition will be held by th Cape Town Jewish Youth Club on Sunday, 9th l\1ar ·h, at 8.15 p.U}·

Farewell to Post Matriculants.- A farewell to the Cape members of the Post-matriculation Cour. e is b ing arrang0d by the Cape Board of Jewish Education in co-operation with the Western Province Zionist Council and the Cape Zionist Youth Executive.
