Setelah lulus sekolah penerbang dari Florida Air Academy, beliau melanjutkan studi di tanah air dan memperoleh gelar Sarjana Hukum dari Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH) dan sebagai kandidat Magister Hukum dari universitas yang sama. Karirnya dimulai sebagai Paralegal di irma hukum DNC Lawirm pada tahun 2008-2009, selanjutnya memilih untuk fokus sebagai Environmental Lawyer sekaligus menjabat Kepala Business Development di PT Syslab Integrated Laboratory Services menangani perusahaan- perusahan oil & gas pada periode 2009-2011. Selain itu, pada periode 2012-2013, beliau juga menjabat sebagai Kepala Divisi Legal di PT Anandhita Kaharya Anugerah dan Legal Counselor di PT Berau Usaha Mandiri.

After inishing Pilot school in Florida Air Academy, he attained a Bachelor of Law degree from Pelita Harapan University and is currently a Master of Law candidate majoring in business law from the same university.
Starting his legal career as a paralegal in DNC Lawirm in 2008-2009, he then focused to be an Environmental Lawyer serving as the Business Development Head at PT SysLab Integrated Laboratory Services with clientele of mainly oil & gas companies in 2009-2011. Deciding to enter into the mining sector, he then served as the Legal Division Head at PT Berau Usaha Mandiri through 2012-2013.

Beliau memegang gelar Insinyur dari Institut Teknologi Nasional, Bandung. Beliau berpengalaman sebagai Komite Audit di Pertamina serta anggota Komite Investasi dan Resiko Pertamina. Selain itu juga berpengalaman sebagai ahli Equity Research, Investment Banking dan Corporate Finance di perusahaan Sekuritas Joint Venture, selain itu juga sebagai Business Development dan Business Initiator di sebuah perusahaan lokal. Bapak Irwan memegang izin Manajer Investasi dari OJK serta Wakil Perantara Pedagang Efek (WPPE) dari Bapepam.
Telah mengajukan mengundurkan diri per 14 Nopember 2016 dan telah disetujui dalam RUPSLB Panggilan ketiga pada 30 Maret 2017.

Menjalani pendidikan di Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia dan dilanjutkan di Curtin University, Singapura dan memperoleh gelar Bachelor of Commerce di bidang Sistem Informasi. Memulai karirnya di PT Millenium Danatama Sekuritas sejak tahun 2007-2014. Sebelum bergabung dengan Perseroan, beliau menjabat sebagai salah satu direksi di PT Viktori Internasional Kapital sejak tahun 2014-2015.
