Sama halnya dengan CPM, Kegiatan Perseroan di area Gorontalo Minerals masih terbatas pada eksplorasi awal, menuju ke kegiatan eksplorasi lebih detil berupa kegiatan pemboran, sehingga kegiatan tanggung jawab sosial yang dilakukan masih terbatas. Beberapa kegiatan yang dilakukan pada tahun 2010 mencakup: • Berpartisipasi pada acara wisuda Universitas
Negeri Gorontalo (UNG) dan menyerahkan bantuan
• A joint breaking of the fast was held from 18-22 August, 2010 at Poboya mosque, with CPM bringing in distinguished guests to read the sermon, KH.DR. Zainal Abidin (Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council for Palu) and Drs. Mahmud M.Ag (Lecturer at University Al-Khairaat, Palu). The event was also attended by Syahrial Suandi, Anas Husaini, and CPM employees in Palu. Cost to CPM was Rp11,122,000.
• A post-fast gathering was held with communities from Poboya in East Palu, Palu. This was attended by the sub-district Head of East Palu, Cultural Head of Poboya, community figures, youth and women. The event was attended by around 450 people with a cost to CPM of around Rp15,000,000.
• From 27-31 October, the Company participated in the Celebes Fair exhibition in Makassar, taking a Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources stand for South Sulawesi province and providing information on roll-up banners and photographs about CPM’s exploration of Block II located in Luwu Utara, South Sulawesi. CPM rented the stand and hired officials at a cost of Rp30,000,000.
• On the Idul Adha (Islamic Day of Sacrifice) holiday, CPM took part in the sacrifice rituals and donated one cow (slaughtered in Poboya), and five goats divided among five mosques in Poboya area. The animals were slaughtered and the meat shared out to employees and the community in Poboya and around the CPM office in Palu. CPM donated Rp25,000,000 for this program.
Total costs paid by CPM in these various activities totaled around Rp210,122,000.
Gorontalo Minerals
As with CPM, Company operations in the area of Gorontalo Minerals are still at the early exploration phase, leading up to more detailed exploration using drilling, and social responsibility programs are still limited. Some of the activities undertaken in 2010 include:
• Participation in the graduation program for Gorontalo State University (UNG) and
perlengkapan lapangan geologi kepada Pusat Pengkajian Ilmu dan Teknologi Kebumian ”John Ario Katili” Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Acara dihadiri oleh Suseno Kramadibrata, Sumardiman DW, Syahrial Suandi. Bantuan disampaikan oleh Suseno Kramadibrata kepada Rektor UNG yang disaksikan langsung oleh Gubernur Gorontalo. Total biaya yang dikeluarkan GM untuk kegiatan ini adalah Rp81.990.110
• Berpartisipasi pada perayaan peringatan HUT ke 64 RI di beberapa desa yang berada di sekitar lokasi KK GM yang terletak di Kabupaten Bone Bolango. Biaya yang dikeluarkan GM untuk melaksanakan kegiatan ini adalah sekitar Rp25.000.000. • Berkontribusi langsung pada kegiatan perayaan
HUT RI ke 65 bersama masyarakat di desa-desa yang berada di sekitar lokasi GM. Beberapa desa menyampaikan sambutan yang sangat baik karena secara langsung kegiatan yang dilakukan mengklarifikasi isu yang berkembang bahwa GM telah beralih kepemilikan kepada perusahaan lain. Biaya yang dikeluarkan GM untuk melaksanakan kegiatan ini adalah sekitar Rp68.925.000.
• Mengadakan acara buka puasa bersama dengan masyarakat sekitar pada tanggal 25 Agustus 2010 (untuk Kecamatan Bone Raya dan Bulawa) dan 26 Agustus 2010 (Kecamatan Suwawa Timur). Biaya yang dikeluarkan GM untuk melaksanakan kegiatan ini adalah sekitar Rp55.000.000. • Melaksanakan bakti sosial bersama Wagub Gorontalo
dalam bentuk pemberian sembako dan perlengkapan shalat kepada rakyat yang tidak mampu di sekitar lokasi GM, dalam rangka peringatan Nuzulul Qur’an. Biaya yang dikeluarkan GM untuk melaksanakan kegiatan ini adalah sekitar Rp355.500.000.
• Pada hari raya Idul Adha GM melakukan pemotongan hewan Qur’ban sebanyak 6 ekor sapi dengan perincian, 3 ekor dipotong dan dibagi-bagikan kepada karyawan dan masyarakat sekitar kantor GM, 2 ekor dipotong bersama tokoh masyarakat Bone Bolango (Kris Wartabone dan Yos Wartabone) serta 1 ekor dipotong disalah satu mesjid yang terletak di Selatan Blok I, yaitu di Kecamatan Bone Raya. Pada kegiatan ini, GM mendonasikan Rp25.000.000.
Total biaya yang telah dikeluarkan GM untuk berbagai kegiatan tersebut adalah sebesar Rp666.415.110.

Several villages welcomed this support as the activities clarified rumors that had been spreading that GM was intending to transfer ownership to another company. Costs to GM for these activities amounted to approximately Rp68,925,000.
• Joint breaking-of-the-fast programs were held with local communities on 25 August, 2010 (in Bone Raya and Bulawa sub-districts) and on 26 August, 2010 (in East Suwawa sub-district). The cost to GM was approximately Rp55,000,000.
• Social welfare activities to commemorate Nuzulul Qur’an with the Deputy Governor of Gorontalo were the distribution of food parcels and prayer mats, etc., to the needy around the GM location. Cost to GM was around Rp355,500,000.
