BAB 6 KESIMPULAN DAN SARAN

6.2. Saran

Dari seluruh proses penelitian yang telah dijalani oleh penulis dalam menyelesaikan penelitian ini, maka dapat diungkapkan beberapa saran yang mungkin dapat bermanfaat bagi semua pihak yang berperan dalam penelitian ini. Adapun saran tersebut, yaitu:

1. Perlu dilaksanakan upaya-upaya prevensi misal dengan istirahat khususnya

bagi setiap pengguna komputer terhadap Sindroma Mata Kering yang dapat timbul saat menggunakan komputer dan bila hal ini berlangsung kronik akan dapat menggangu produktivitas kerja dan kualitas hidup.

2. Kepada pemerintah khususnya yang bersangkutan dengan kesehatan mata karyawan dan pelajar pengguna komputer agar lebih giat mensosialisasikan khususnya pada perusahaan atau perkantoran tentang pentingnya waktu istirahat dan batas waktu menggunakan komputer bagi karyawan.

3. Untuk peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat meneliti Sindroma Mata Kering pada

pengguna komputer dengan desain cohort study berbasiskan rancangan penelitian ekperimental di mana responden diikuti perkembangan gejala dan derajat keparahan Sindroma Mata Kering yang diberikan intervensi istirahat maupun tidak dan mengontrol faktor-faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil yang bias sehingga didapatkan data yang lebih akurat.
