Divisi Teknologi Informasi (TI) terdiri dari dua gugus kerja, yaitu Gugus Infrastruktur yang bertanggung jawab atas konektivitas dan perangkat komputer dan Gugus Sistem yang bertanggung jawab atas operasional perangkat-perangkat lunak pendukung operasional.
Dari sisi infrastruktur, pada tahun 2010 Perseroan telah menambah jumlah sambungan Internet yang dilengkapi dengan Radware Link Controller untuk menambah ketersediaan layanan “Panin Sekuritas Online Stock Trading” (POST).

The Research Division continuously monitors the latest information low and provides updates through daily reports as well as periodic reports on speciic sectors. The Research Division has disseminated information to the clients through several media outlets. The analysts and the securities marketing team hold regular morning meetings to discuss the latest market-moving information.The Research Division has produced various reports such as Panin News, Daily Technical, Recommendation, Company Report, Industry Report and Economic Outlook. The Research division also conducts periodic meetings with clients to present views on the latest macroeconomic conditions and forecasts, as well as on industry information and company performance analysis. These efforts are in place to produce a closer relationship between the Company and its clients.
To prepare the shifting of Investment Manager activities into subsidiary, the Company has expanded Research Division by establishing a sub-division that will fully supports the investment manager activities. After the shifting, that sub division will be a Research Division of the subsidiary.
Information Technology
Information Technology Division comprises of two working groups: the Infrastructure Group, who is responsible for connectivity and hardware, and the Systems Group, responsible for software for operating devices.
In terms of infrastructure, in 2010 the Company has increased the number of internet connection that are equipped with Radware Link Controller to increase the capacity of “Panin Sekuritas Online Stock Trading” (POST).

Selain itu, Perseroan juga mulai
melakukan penjajakan Cloud Computing untuk memberikan layanan tak terputus, dan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi kepada nasabah khususnya email. Untuk meningkatkan eisiensi daya dan perangkat, selama tahun 2010 Perseroan juga telah melakukan implementasi virtualization tahap I, dimana server- server isik yang dimiliki dimigrasikan ke dalam virtual machines dalam rangka pengujian beban kerja. Hasil implementasi tahap I menunjukkan bahwa tidak akan ada masalah dalam melakukan implementasi virtualization, dan tahap II akan dilakukan tahun 2011. Selain implementasi Cloud Computing dan Virtualization, pada tahun 2011 Gugus Infrastruktur akan mengimplementasikan rencana kerja BEI dalam hal integrasi jaringan koneksi untuk trading (JONEC), data feed, dan KSEI/KPEI.
Dalam rangka pengembangan sistem, pada tahun 2010 Perseroan telah menggunakan POST versi baru, yaitu POST versi 1.2 dengan beberapa perubahan, seperti: tampilan baru yang lebih banyak menampilkan informasi, adanya Breaking News untuk memberikan informasi terbaru yang dibutuhkan, adanya Right & Warrant News untuk memberikan informasi mengenai masa berlakunya Right & Warrant dan lain-lain. Untuk memperbaiki kinerja sistem Remote Trading, Perseroan telah melakukan peningkatan sistem pada server agar penggunaan memori dapat menjadi lebih besar, sehingga dapat melayani jumlah pengguna yang meningkat serta jumlah order yang bertambah banyak.
Sesuai dengan ketentuan BEI, Perseroan telah melakukan Review Online Trading terhadap POST yang dilaksanakan oleh auditor eksternal. Hasilnya adalah POST telah memenuhi ketentuan dan persyaratan yang dibutuhkan untuk melaksanakan sistem online trading dan telah mendapatkan persetujuan dari BEI. Untuk rencana tahun 2011, sistem online trading akan dikembangkan dengan fasilitas mobile trading (POST on Blackberry) untuk mengakomodasi
The Company also began to consider Cloud Computing to provide uninterrupted service and improve communication capabilities to customers, particularly through email. To improve the eficiency of capacity and devices, during the year 2010 the Company has implemented the irst stage of virtualization, where the physically server was migrated into virtual machine and test workload. The result of Phase I implementation indicated there would be no problem in virtualization implementation, and Phase II will be carried out in 2011.
In addition to the implementation of Cloud Computing and Virtualization, the Infrastructure Group will implement a work plan to integrate IDX connection to trading (JONEC), date feed, and KSEI/KPEI. To enhance systems development, in 2010 the Company has implemented POST ver. 1.2. with new features such as new user interface to display more information, Breaking News, Right & Warrant News to provide their validity periods, and others. To improve the performance of Remote Trading, the Company has increased its system on the server to optimize memory usage, thus serving more users and number of trading orders.
In accordance with the provisions of IDX, the Company has made online trading review performed by external auditors. The result is that POST has fulilled the terms and conditions required to implement online trading system and has obtained approval from IDX.
For the year 2011, the online trading system will be developed with mobile trading facility (POST on Blackberry) to accommodate the clients’ need to access POST via smartphone. The Company will also develop a desktop-based Market Info application.
