As we near the end of the Pennant season we acknowledge the efforts of all players – some who won and others who tried their best.

It should be noted that the Ladies run raffles on Tuesday and Thursday each week and have raised $1000.70 for the Club so far this year.

Winter Social Bowls will commence the first week in April – Tuesday and Thursday – names on Board by 11am or phone before that time. Good value at only $8 per person
includes prizes, lucky door, soup & roll. Random draw and all levels welcome – 2 games of 9 ends - get rid of the winter Blues and enjoy the company and light hearted atmosphere, while getting a bit of exercise. We raised a significant amount for the Club last year while enjoying ourselves – dress casual. (We desperately need someone to help with Thursday 4th April – any takers? Contact Pat on 040315621 for details.)
Saturday Winter Pennant starts on Saturday 27 April 2019 at 12noon for a 12.30start. $8 per player, casual dress, hot afternoon tea and cash prizes.
To even up the competition, a handicap system will apply again this winter – for every Premier League player in a team, the opposition will get a two shot start - and for every Division One player in a team, the opposition will get a one shot start.
If you are not in a team but want to play let me know (or put your name down on the notice board at the Club) and I will organise additional teams. The ladies will be saddened by the recent passing of Gladys Van de Kamp who was a Club player and had been in ill health for a time – a life well lived.
