From the Board:
Working Bee: On Monday 17th October, a working bee worked on the main road vegetation. Thanks to Lyndsay McTye and his crew of volunteers for a wonderful job
Barefoot bowls: We have had a good response for volunteers for BBQ duty. Thanks to all who have volunteered to help
Beyond Blue /Cancer Council: Thanks to Josh Mabb in organising this fund raiser in conjunction with Rosny Park. $800 was raised at the Bucks ‘Shave Off’. Well Done Josh
From the Provedore:
As the festive season approaches there are many outside businesses and individuals interested in booking the club for functions. These functions provide much needed funds for the club from people who don’t normally attend Buckingham. A well run and enjoyable event
hopefully means word is spread that the club is a great place to hold an event.
The events booked in at this stage are:
Friday 25th November: Sit down Christmas dinner for 60 people (business group)
Sunday 27th November: Afternoon Tea Birthday Party
Friday 2nd December: Past Presidents Assoc. sit down Christmas lunch
Friday 22nd December: Social Bowls and BBQ Day
I am always happy for people to let me know if they can volunteer to help for any of these events. Women and Men most welcome. Please let me know by phone or text 0418 994004 if you can help or would like me to keep you name in my diary for future events.
