KESIMPULAN DAN SARAN
Kesimpulan dan saran
ini merupakan hasil dari penelitian untuk mengetahui
Pengaruh Pemananfaatan
Web site
terhadap Citra Universitas Kasus pada Mahasiswa
Atma Jaya Yogyakarta Angkatan 2006. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari hasil
penelitian yang dilakukan dan saran akan diuraikan sebagai berikut :
A. Kesimpulan
1.
Hasil analisis Regresi Linier menunjukkan bahwa variabel pemanfaatan
web
site
mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap citra universitas. Hal ini dapat
diartikan, jika pemanfaatan
web site
meningkat, maka citra universitas juga
akan mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan.
2.
Hasil analisis model jalur menunjukkan koefisien hubungan langsung lebih
besar dari koefisien hubungan tidak langsung, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa
hubungan yang sebenarnya adalah langsung dengan kata lain pemanfaatan

1. Akademik
a. Pentingnya fungsi media

dalam sebuah organisasi adalah membangun
citra organisasi. Oleh sebab itu keberadaan media
web site
perlu lebih lagi
dimanfaatkan oleh setiap departemen yang ada dalam universitas untuk
menyampaikan informasi yang berguna bagi mahasiswa.
b. Peneliti juga memberikan masukan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk dapat
mengembangkan penelitian ini. Sehingga akhirnya penelitian selanjutnya menjadi
lebih kaya.
2. Praktis
a. Bagi instansi UAJY, agar dilaksanakan sosialisasi yang bersifat kontinyu dan
konstan mengenai penggunaan media

di seluruh kampus UAJY.
Sosialisasi ini bertujuan agar semua mahasiswa dapat lebih mengenal dan
menanfaatkan

universitas untuk mengakses informasi-informasi yang ada
pada

tersebut.
b. Untuk meningkatkan intensitas pemanfaatan

oleh mahasiswa maka
informasi-informasi yang ada pada

perlu lebih sering diperbaharui

misalnya: informasi beasiswa. Jika dapat, UAJY perlu menngadakan KRS
