ABSTRACT

This study aims to analyze the correlation of stock returns seen from the

influence of the conditions of the company's fundamentals measured from the ratio of the

use of EVA (Economic Value Added), ROA (Return on Assets), ROE (Return on Equity)

and EPS (Earnings per Share). Samples were taken by using purposive sampling method

to obtain 16 companies used in the study and use of financial statement data for financial

year 2009 to 2011. Analysis techniques used to test the hypothesis is to use panel data

regression analysis. Results of test outliers, reducing our sample to 18 samples, 48

samples obtained from the final sample as many as 30 samples. Then the results of the

regression can be concluded that the only variable that significantly ROE with stock

returns, and positively correlated. While the EVA variables, ROA, and EPS does not

affect significantly with stock returns.
