Due to their independent status for the purposes of quality assur-ance, the testing institute and certification body are obliged to keep all data secret. Therefore the institute gives a guarantee of absolute secrecy. These data are exclusively used to determine the number of tests necessary for the certification.

Sehubungan dengan status independen yang dimiliki lembaga pengujian dan badan sertifikasi dalam hal jaminan mutu, maka lem-baga pengujian dan badan sertifikasi tersebut berkewajiban untuk menjaga kerahasiaan seluruh data. Oleh karena itu lembaga terse-but harus memberikan jaminan kerahasiaan sepenuhnya. Data-data ini hanya digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah pengujian yang di-perlukan untuk proses sertifikasi.

Contact details (company, responsible person, address, e-mail ad-dress, telephone and fax number) as well as information about the certificate (certificate number, name of products , product class, in-formation validity , etc.) are transmitted during the certification process to the OEKO-TEX® Association, Genferstrasse 23, CH-8027 Zurich and processed there further.
