General-purpose electrode for structural, steelwork, workshop and maintenance welding, specially suited for vertical-down welding and tack-welds. Good gap bridging. Can be used on galvanized, primer painted and slightly rusted parts. In assembly welding, electrode can be used with the same current setting in all positions. Smooth, slightly concave welds blending into base metal without undercutting. Slag in most cases self-releasing.

Kawat las untuk aplikasi umum, sangat cocok untuk pengelasan pada konstruksi, bengkel las, repair

& maintenace, khususnya untuk pengelasan dengan posisi vertical-down dan semua posisi lainnya.

Baik untuk pengelasan pada celah. Dapat digunakan pada besi galvanis, besi yang sudah dicat dasar,

besi yang agak berkarat. Kawat las ini memiliki keistimewaan: alur lasnya halus, penetrasinya dalam,

tanpa terjadi undercut, dan terak pada umumnya dapat terlepas sendiri.

Application & Properties:

High-efficiency electrode having a weld metal recovery of approx. 165%. High melt-off rates, short welding times and long welds to be achieved, guarantee the economical execution of fillet welds. In welding, the tip of the electrode is dragged on the work, thus producing optimum-shaped concave fillets. It is suited for welding primer painted plates. Very good arc striking and restriking. Clean and smooth welds blending into base metal without undercuts. With proper current setting, slag is self releasing.

Aplikasi & Penggunaan:

Kawat las ini memiliki efisiensi tinggi hingga 165%. Kecepatan pencairan kawat inti sangat tinggi,

waktu pengelasannya pendek, alur las yang dihasilkan sangat panjang. Sangat cocok untuk

pengelasan pada posisi fillet. Pengelasan dapat dilakukan dengan cara menempelkan kawat las pada

material, sehingga alur lasnya memiliki bentuk cekung secara optimal pada posisi fillet. Dapat

digunakan pada baja yang sudah dicat dasar. Kestabilan nyala api dan restrikingnya sangat baik. Alur

lasnya halus dan bersih, penetrasinya dalam tanpa undercut. Dengan menggunakan ampere yang

sesuai, terak dapat terlepas sendiri.

Application & Properties:

Basic electrode for producing tough and crack-free welded joints even on steels having a carbon content of up to 0,4%. Weld metal recovery amounts to approx. 120%. Good operating characteristics, also in positional welding. Weld metal exhibits good toughness properties down to -60oC. Electrode is suitable for depositing buffer layers on higher carbon steels.

OERLIKON FERINOX 307 (COMET 307) is a synthetic basic coated stainless steel electrode 18% Cr-8% Ni - 6% Mn type which have 160% recovery, high deposition rates and productivity. Used for joining stainless steel to carbon steels, welding 14% manganese steels, armour and hard-to-weld steels, and also for rebuilding, reclamation, buffer layer before hardfacing. Suitable for: rails & railway equipment, components subjected to severe impact and high pressure, parts undergoing corrosive conditions & cavitation. OERLIKON COMET 307 adalah kawat las stainless steel sintetik yang mempunyai kandungan

18% Cr - 8% Ni - 6% Mn pada hasil lasnya, serta memiliki efisiensi pengelasan 160%, sehingga

produktivitasnya tinggi. Digunakan untuk menyambung baja stainless steel dengan baja karbon,

pengelasan baja manganese 14%, baja yang sulit dilas, pelapisan, perbaikan, dan buffer layer

Application & Properties:

Electrode for joining dissimilar steels (austenitic steels to ferritic steels) and for austenitic claddings. Weld metal consists of austenite with approx. 15% delta-ferrite. Claddings on unalloyed and low-alloy steels are already corrosion resistant in the first layer. Highest operating temperature for joints between dissimilar steels is +300oC. In case of higher temperatures, use OERLIKON SUPRANEL 600 electrodes. Fine metal droplet transfer, good fusion of joint faces, finely rippled bead surface, easy slag removal, easy arc striking and restriking.

Aplikasi & Penggunaan:

Kawat las untuk penyambungan baja yang tidak sama jenisnya (baja austenite dengan baja ferrite).

Alur las memiliki struktur austenite dengan kandungan delta ferrite +/- 15%. Temperatur operasi

untuk penyambungan baja yang berbeda jenisnya bisa mencapai hingga temperatur 300

C.

Electrode for joining dissimilar steels and depositing claddings on ferritic steels. The weld metal consists of austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo steel with possible small amounts of delta-ferrite. It is non-scaling up to +850oC. The weld metal is highly crack-resistant and therefore suited to joining difficult-to-weld steels and depositing stress-relaxing buffer layers on crack sensitive base metal or underneath hard facing deposits. Highest operating temperature for dissimilar steel joints is +300oC. In case of higher temperatures, use OERLIKON SUPRANEL 600 electrodes. Weld metal work-hardens.

yang sangat baik dan sangat cocok untuk penyambungan baja yang sulit dilas serta sebagai buffer

layer yang ulet untuk pengelasan baja yang sangat sensitif terhadap keretakan, atau sebagai

landasan sebelum dilakukan pengelasan hard facing. Temperatur operasi untuk penyambungan baja

yang tidak sama jenisnya bisa mencapai hingga temperatur 300

Application & Properties:

Thick basic-covered electrode for producing hard facing deposits of medium hardness, which can be machined by chip-forming. Particularly suited for wear resisting parts subjected to heavy impact and shock. OERLLION CITORAIL can be easily welded in all positions, except vertical-down. Weld metal is crack resistant and free of pores. Suitable for: Reconditioning of rails, rail crossings, switch points, sprockets and wearing parts, such as: rope pulleys, tumblers, rollers, caterpillar track rollers and links, wheel flanges, stud links and others.

Aplikasi & Penggunaan:

Kawat las dengan coating type basic yang tebal untuk pengelasan hard facing dengan kekerasan

sedang yang dapat dibubut atau dibentuk. Sangat cocok untuk komponen yang memerlukan

ke-tahanan terhadap gesekan serta benturan yang berat. Kawat las OERLIKON CITORAIL dapat

di-gunakan pada segala posisi, kecuali vertical-down. Alur las bebas dari keretakan dan pori. Sangat

cocok untuk perbaikan: rel kereta api, crossing pada rel kereta api, switch points, sprocket, dan

komponen-komponen yang aus karena gesekan seperti: pulleys, tumbler, roller, caterpillar track

rollers and links, wheel flanges, stud links, dll.

Application & Properties:

Basic covered austenitic manganese steel electrode for wear resisting hard facing deposits. Weld metal will adopt high hardness by cold working. It is therefore particularly suited for parts which are subjected mainly to wear caused by heavy impact and shock. During welding, the workpieces should not become too hot and, if necessary, be allowed to cool down. When welding large workpieces made of austenitic manganese steel, such as crusher jaw plates, it is advisable to weld them in a water bath. High welding currents and wide-weave beads must be avoided. When building up various layers, it is good practice depositing a buffer layer with OERLIKON CITOCHROMAX N weld metal. When making joint welds on austenitic manganese steel, it is preferable to use OERLIKON CITOCHROMAX N electrode. Suitable for: Hardfacing and repair welding of wear resisting parts made of austenitic manganese steel, such as crusher jaw plates, crusher cones, pulverizing hammers, beating arms and others.

Thick basic-covered electrode for depositing tough and wear resisting overlays on structural members subjected to severe wear. The weld metal is free of cracks and pores and resistant to impact and shock. It can be machined only by grinding. Only in case of very crack sensitive base metals, a tough buffer layer, made with OERLIKON CITOCHROMAX N electrodes, is required. Multi-layer deposits will be free of cracks, even without depositing intermediate buffer layers. Suitable for: Hard facing excavator parts, bucket edges and bucket teeth, drilling bits, coal planes, conveyor screws, polygon edges, crusher jaws and cones.

Application & Properties:

Thick rutile-covered high alloy electrode depositing hypereutectic chromium hard metal. It is suitable for producing highly wear resisting deposits subject to abrasion by mineral particles. The typical transverse cracks appearing in this hard facing weld metal are not detrimental to abrasion resistance. However, the weld metal is not resistant to impact and shock, and is machinable only by grinding. On difficult-to-weld steels, a buffer layer made with OERLIKON CITOCHROMAX N electrodes is required. OERLIKON CITODUR V-1000 produces very smooth weld beads with flat penetration. Metal recovery is approx. 160%.

Weld metal closely matches colour of base metal. Easy arc striking and restriking, stable arc, smooth bead surface. Weld metal is machinable. Weld short beads. It has higher strength properties than pure nickel weld metal and is therefore preferable used for welding nodular cast iron, white and black heart malleable cast iron, as well as austenitic nodular cast iron or joining these metals to components made of steel, copper or nickel materials. Easy arc striking and restriking, stable arc, smooth bead. Weld metal is machinable. Weld short beads.

Application & Properties:

For chamfering, gouging, beveling, and channeling ferrous and non-ferrous metals using the arc. No oxygen or air required. Special coating makes electrode highly heat resistant and concentrates arc-force right on point of application. Chamfered surface requires little or no finishing operation. Some specific uses are high speed removal of excess metal, gouging out old or bad welds, preparing joints to be welded in position, rooting out high chrome deposits on deeper teeth, armor plates, etc. prior to hardsurfacing, removal of most of unwanted metal before final machining operations.

penggunaannya tidak diperlukan oksigen maupun udara. Kegunaan khusus dari kawat las ini yaitu: membuang alur las yang berlebihan,

membuang alur las yang salah, mempersiapkan sambungan yang akan dilas, membuang alur las hardfacing yang keras karena mengandung

unsur chromium, seperti: bucket teeth, armor plates, dll, dan untuk membuang alur las yang tidak diinginkan sebelum dilakukan finishing.
