The centre of mangoes production is East Java, the yearly average production is 63 thousand ton.. And the other production
centers are Mid Java and West Java which production level is 24.5 thousand ton and 15,3 tousand ton respectively.
Mangoes production was increased during 2001-2005. The average growth is as much as 12%, from 923 thousand tons

in 2001 to 1.4 million tons in 2004. The production growth is more caused by extensification factor. It can be seen in
harvest area that increase significantly, equals 76.2% from 44 thousand ha in 2001 to 185 thousand ha in 2005.
