YANSYAH RONI HUTABARAT: Kajian Sedimentasi dan Hubungannya Dengan Debit Sungai pada Musim Kemarau di Areal Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit PTP. Nusantara IV Pabatu, dibimbing oleh SUMONO dan SULASTRI PANGGABEAN.
Sedimentasi sangat berpengaruh terhadap kualitas air dan debit suatu sungai dalam suatu wilayah Sub DAS. Penelitian ini bertujuanmenghitung besarnya sedimentasi dan hubungannya dengan debit sungai pada musim kemarau dari bulan Maret-Agustus 2015 di Sub-Das Bahilang (DAS Padang) di Areal Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit PTP. Nusantara IV Pabatu. Parameter yang diamati adalah debit sungai, konsentrasi sedimen melayang dan debit sedimen melayang.
Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan debit tertinggi pada bulan Agustus 2015 yaitu 61,09 l/s. Debit terendah pada bulan Juni 2015 yaitu 38,14 l/s. Konsentrasi sedimen tertinggi 9685 mg/l, sedangkan konsentrasi sedimen terendah 55 mg/l. Debit sedimen melayang tertinggi 561,219 ton/hari, sedangkan debit sedimen melayang terendah 0.1808 ton/hari.Persamaan hubungan debit sungai dengan debit sedimen adalah Qs = 158.13Q1.4748 dengan nilai koefisien diterminasi (R2) sebesar 0.835.

Sedimentation has significant effect on water quality and river’s rate in Sub River Flow Area. This research was aimed to count sedimentation content and its relation to river rate in dry season (March until August 2015) in Bahilang Sub River Flow Area (Padang, River Flow Area) in PTP. Nusantara IV Pabatu oil palm field. Parametres observed were river rate, floating sediment contentration, and floating sediment debit.
The results show that the highest was 61,09 l/s in August 2015. The lowest debit was 38,14 l/s in June 2015. The highest sediment concentration was 9685 mg/l, and the lowest sediment concentration was 55 mg/l. The highest floating sediment rate was 561,219 ton/day, the lowest floating sediment concentration was 0,1808 ton/day. The relation of river rate and sediment rate was Qs= 158,13Q1.4748 with determination coeficient (R2) of 0,835.
