ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara tolerance of ambiguity
dengan job involvement pada karyawan PT. X. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan 86 karyawan PT.X yang bergerak dibidang penyiaran televisi Regional Sumatera Utara sebagai subjek. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala tolerance of ambiguity (Budner, 1962) dan skala job
involvement (Lodahl & Kejner, 1965). Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi antara
tolerance of ambiguity dengan job involvement, diperoleh koefisien korelasi
sebesar -0,252 dengan level signifikansi 0,019 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara tolerance of ambiguity
dengan job involvement. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi mengenai hubungan antara tolerance of ambiguity dengan job involvement pada karyawan.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to propose a relationship between tolerance of ambiguity with job involvement on the employees of PT.X. This study used quantitative approach using 86 employees of PT.X moves in the field of television broadcasting Regional North Sumatera as subjects. Data were collected using the scale of tolerance of ambiguity (Budner, 1962) and scale of job involvement (Lodahl & Kejner, 1965). From the analysis of the research data obtained by the correlation between tolerance of ambiguity with job involvement, the correlation coefficient is -0.252 with a significance level of 0.019 (p <0.05). This indicates that there is a significant negative relationship between tolerance of ambiguity and job involvement on the employees of PT.X. This research is expected to provide information about how the relationship between the tolerance of ambiguity with job involvement of employees.
