Dear Sis Ayu,
Thank you for your email. I am very happy with your good result, sis. I agree with you. It is sad to end our study at the university. For me, it is not that sad because it means goodbye Japan and coming home.
I am now relaxing in my room after a long day in class. I am very excited because in a few days’ time I will join u and the others back home. My flight to Kuala Lumpur International Airport will leave Tokyo at 11.00 a.m. Malaysian Time on 20th February 2016. The flight takes nine hours to reach KL. Father will meet me at the airport. I hope you and mum will be there too.
I hope we can find jobs together. Before that, I want to enjoy myself first. There are so many things that I missed for the past two years. I want to eat all the food that I miss especially mum’s cooking. I cannot forget the smell and taste of “sambal tumis petai”, “kari kepala ikan”, “masak tempoyak ikan patin” and mom’s “nasi goreng sambal belacan”. I do not miss our local fruits much because most of them are sold here. I can always buy packed durians, rambutan, and even mangosteens. They are not as fresh and as sweet as in Malaysia.
On top of everything, I am most happy to finally come home. Home to my family, home to friends, and most of all, HOME TO MALAYSIA.
