Menurut Sudiro (2011) kandungan zat hara pada urine sapi, nitrogen 1,00%, fosfor 0,50%, kalium 1,50%, dan air sebanyak 95%.

Diasumsikan kandungan N pada urine 1%, maka untuk memenuhi kebutuhan 200 Kg N diberikan urine sapi sebanyak 20000 Kg urine sapi/Ha.

= 20000 Kg urine sapi/Ha = 20000 Kg urine sapi/10000 m² = 2 Kg urine sapi/ m²

Massa jenis (ρ) urine sapi adalah 0,8. Maka, volume urine sapi yang

diberikan adalah :

= 2 Kg urine sapi/m²/0,8 = 2,5 liter/m²

Untuk lahan seluas 1,44 m² (1,2 m x 1,2 m), maka urine sapi yang diberikan adalah sebanyak :
