ANALISIS KANDUNGAN KADMIUM, TEMBAGA DAN TIMBAL PADA DAGING IKAN BAUNG (Mystus nemurus) DI SUNGAI BELUMAI
KABUPATEN DELI SERDANG

ABSTRAK
Perkembangan industri yang ada di sekitar Sungai Belumai, Kabupaten Deli Serdang menghasilkan buangan limbah dan menimbulkan pencemaran logam berat seperti kadmium (Cd), tembaga (Cu) dan timbal (Pb) yang dapat membahayakan organisme perairan. Salah satunya adalah terjadi akumulasi logam berat pada daging ikan baung (Mystus nemurus). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kandungan kadmium, tembaga dan timbal dalam daging ikan baung.
Sampel ikan baung diambil di Sungai Belumai, Desa Aras Kabu, Kecamatan Beringin, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara secara purposif. Preparasi sampel dilakukan dengan proses dekstruksi kering. Penentuan kadar kadmium, tembaga dan timbal dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode spektrofotometri serapan atom (SSA) masing-masing pada panjang gelombang 228,8 nm, 324,8 nm dan 283,3 nm dengan nyala udara-asetilen.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar logam kadmium, tembaga dan timbal pada daging ikan baung Sungai Belumai yaitu 0,009275 ± 0,000375 mg/kg, 0,5902 ± 0,008395 mg/kg dan 0,151875 ± 0,005717 mg/kg. Kadar logam kadmium, tembaga dan timbal pada daging ikan baung masih di bawah ambang batas yang telah direkomendasikan oleh SNI (2009) diketahui batas maksimum kadmium dan timbal pada ikan dan hasil olahannya yaitu 0,1 mg/kg dan 0,3 mg/kg. Menurut surat keputusan Ditjen POM (1989) diketahui batas maksimum tembaga pada ikan dan hasil olahannya yaitu 20 mg/kg.

CONTENT IN BAUNG’S FISH TISSUE (Mystus nemurus) IN BELUMAI RIVER OF DELI SERDANG REGENCY

ABSTRACT
Industrial developments around Belumai River, Deli Serdang Regency produce effluent waste and cause heavy metal pollution such as cadmium (Cd), copper (Cu) and lead (Pb) that can harm the aquatic organism. One is that accumulation of heavy metal in baung’s fish tissue (Mystus nemurus). The purpose this study was to determine the content of cadmium, copper and lead in baung fish.
The baung fish were taken in the river Belumai, Aras Kabu Village, Beringin Subdistric, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province taken purposively. Samples preparation was done by dry destruction method. Determination of cadmium, copper and lead was done by using atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) at the wavelengths of 228.8 nm, 324.8 nm and 283.3 nm with air-acetylene flame.
The results showed that the levels of metals cadmium, copper and lead on baung’s fish tissue river Belumai were 0.009275 ± 0.000375 mg/kg, 0.5902 ± 0.008395 mg/kg and 0.151875 ± 0.005717 mg/kg. Levels of Cadmium, copper and lead in Baung fish still below the range that has been recommended by NSI (2009) known that the maximum range cadmium and lead in fish and processed products are 0.1 mg/kg and 0,3 mg/kg. According to the decision of the Ditjen POM (1989) is known that the maximum range of copper in fish and processed products is 20 mg/kg.
