ABSTRACT
Nowdays.the development of economy need some rules and requlation to
develop the avability of economy resources which are useful for human's welfare.
Financial department is the way in making , the a1ocation of people's saving
beside another way help fiscal policy and the allowance of company's profit.,
Monetary policy is suitable for economy activites nowadays , and it is a

increase the form of people saving
to
a useful investment for country's development.
The phase of the deregulation among, others: Banking deregulation on June
1,1983 (Packet June 1983), packet of October 1988, packet ofJanuary 1990, packet
of February 1991 and packet of May 29, 1993, which are all intended to create better
condition of national bangking.
The banking deregulation is implemented since June 1,1983 and completed
with packet of October 27,1988 within packet of January 1990 resulted banking
system in Indonesia better and into competitveness and marketing mechanism,
transparant either operating system regional or access into fund resources and cost.
Based on the above facts, the writer of this work has a trial to anaIize that
factors that can influence the amount of people saving interest. Therefure, the writer
