1. Pendahuluan (2 menit)
- Guru memberikan salam pembuka dan membimbing peserta didik untuk berdoa sebelum memulai pelajaran dilanjutkan dengan mengecek kehadiran siswa.
- Mengaitkan materi/tema/kegiatan pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan dengan pengalaman sebenarnya.
- Mengajukan pertanyaan untuk mengingat kembali kosakata (brainstorming) yang berhubungan dengan bentuk lampau (second verb/past tense), adverb of time atau konjunsi untuk menjembatani dengan pembelajaran yang akan dilaksanakan.

- Menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran dan cakupan materi pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan.
2. Kegiatan Inti ( 6 Menit )
- Guru meminta siswa membentuk kelompok yang terdiri dari 5-6 siswa.
- Guru menampilkan gambar tentang pengalaman pribadi guru dan rekan guru selama menginap di sekolah.
- Guru memberikan 4 paragraph acak dan menturuh siswa berdiskusi dan menyusun paragraph tersebut dengan bantuan gambar yang tersedia.
- Setiap kelompok membacakan dengan keras didepan kelas secara bergantian hasil paragraph yang mereka susun.
- Guru bersama siswa menampilkan susunan paragraph yang benar
- Guru mengulang kembali tentang recount teks : struktur teks, unsur kebahasaan dan penggunaan simple past dalam menceritakan pengalaman pribadi untuk peristiwa diwa ktu lampau.
- Guru memberi pertanyaan berdasarkan teks tersebut dan meminta siswa menjawab
- Guru menjelaskan tentang pengunaan kata kerja past tense dalam teks recount dan meminta siswa melengkapi tulisan dengan memgunakan kata-kata mereka sendiri baik berbentuk kata kerja ke-2 atau kata lain dan selanjutnya
- peserta didik untuk membuat tulisan berbentuk recount teks tentang pengalaman pribadi mereka secara pendek dan sederhana dan
3. Kegiatan Penutup (2 Menit)
- Guru dan peserta didik merefleksi kegiatan belajar bersama-sama kemudian membuat simpulan tentang materi personal recount dalam pembelajaran yang baru saja dilakukan - Memberi penugasan mengamati video atau link yang disediakan oleh guru dan memberi
pertanyaan petunjuk yang berkenaan dengan video atau link untuk memberi contoh bagi peserta didik bagaimana menulis pengalaman pribadi berdasarkan peristiwa nyata di masa lalu.
- Guru dan murid melakukan refleksi dan menutup pertemuan dengan salam.
